As impossible as the premise of this movie is. I think it’s so fun to atleast visualize the fantasy of raising the ship. If only it was possible my life would be complete

I remember someone made what if featuring if the titanic missed the iceberg it was similar to this as she would’ve been converted to a hospital ship in World War I and in it he had the reverse rescue and had the titanic rescuing the passengers and crew of the Carpathia when she was hit by a u boat while also ramming into the U-Boat. Having it be that Titanic along with her sisters would be sold to the breakers for scrap in 1938.

Raise the Titanic was released in 1980, not 1985. 1985 was the year the wreck of the actual Titanic was finally found and it was on this day!

My biggest question there would be wen its getting toed to new york wat about the hole were it hit the iceberg did they patch that up surely yhe water would be pouring in would sink it again only this time it would take the boats thats toeing it down with it surely

Sadly on real life nowdays that couldnt be possible, because: 1 the years and state of the ship 2 its broken in half 3 theres no tecnology to refloat the titanic But this movie is one of those that its well done and being awesome

Today it's kinda hilarious that people actually thought the Titanic went down in 1 piece with 3 funnels still in tact. Plus the grand staircase dome wasn't completely destroyed. It sounds like something you hear from a cartoon. 😂

Remember that real titanic is torn in 2 pieces and is resting in bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.She cannot be raised because the ship is too fragile to be raised.

The captain and the crew did a really horrible job during the sinking. The crew left with most of the lifeboats, the captain trying get into one of them but went back to the ship and got into a helicopter during sunrise. And I am still angry how he wasn't sentenced to jail for this.

My grandfather saw the titanic, he knew something terrible would happen. He tried telling them it would hit an iceberg and sink with great loss of life, he ran toward it warning everyone to get off, he made such a fuss they threw him out of the cinema
