The play, by the way, is much more rewarding than this outing of two men in a boat with one oar between them. It is a human drama that quickly becomes engaging and has a beautiful, unexpected close.

I do wish some one would give us an answer to why the Inge family is holding back release of The Dark At The Top Of The Stairs (1960). Not even a vhs tape release. The last tv broadcast was on TCM in the 90's (I missed it). A great story when drama was studied and not complained about.

I spent 5 minutes trying to improve it by normailizing peaks and using a de-noiser at 10%. Still, you're gonna have to keep your volume slider handy. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHWuiIGEmNicpNU It's definitely a fascinating premise for a discussion. I would have liked to hear more from Camp, however.

The lovely thing about this is it's early enough that no one's kissing his ass yet, and his generosity, intelligence and work ethic is center-stage instead. Lin looks and sounds and feels like a writer here, before anything else, and in all the best ways.
