I play underwater rugby and the games are very high intensity which makes the dives max one min long. So could I use hyperventilation to my advantage if I just make dives under one minute? If someone wonders why the dives are so short, my heart rate is usually 170-190 while diving because you have to make full sprints with fins all the time.

thank you for the tutorial. i Just bought my first speargun 90cm gun today. when i try to load it on dry land to test it, it is so bothersome so difficult to get the lst few centimeters to hook the latex up it is a pain in the ... i read that it becomes much easier to load in water, is this true, and why is that? i just wanna be sure before i go into the sea because i dont wanna void the warranty.

Yes all you need is a 1/2 inch PVC T connector loads the spear like a charm.Make sure to connect the spear to the gun with a flexible aircraft cable (about 15 feet)

Wrong,made in Italy Mares pneumatic spear guns must be loaded under water!! Don't know about other brands, but believe me failure to do so Will result in downfall of the gun.

These would be alot better without the music in the background, it makes hearing the information harder

I'm complete begginer in this sport. I recently bought a supposed 110cm spear gun(based on many suggestions throughout the web). What bothers me is that the speargun came indeed with a 110cm barrel, however the handle and trigger add quite a bit of extra length, that combined with the overhand of the shaft, I am looking at 160cm loaded spear. Isn't this an overkill(also wouldn't it hurt my maneuverability), having in mind that I would be using it mainly for shore diving in Northern Greece, and should I be refunding my money and getting a shorter speargun?

I see people lifting fish out of the water from their boat all the time when there are sharks known to be in the area. I also see people revive fish from boats when sharks are around. Idk I think this should be brought up in this discussion. No reason to be making your hand an extension of fish from out of your boat when sharks are lurking.
