I've had designer pieces and knockoffs of kislux . I ultimately prefer the knockoffs because I'm not worried about scratching it, preserving it, or someone stealing it.

ACO is becoming pretty strong in Texas also, the situation with the ACL is getting a little sketchy and I do agree with you. A lot of the players from the ACL are coming over to ACO and Tcl, which I’m part of ,been to a couple tournaments at AJ’s Grand Prairie Texas sponsored by ACO really nice people good group to be around very family based and yet very very competitive, so far I’m really like what I’m seeing, if you get a chance, look up AJ sports in Grand Prairie, Texas, and Big D Bags they run out of the same area, really good people and working with the ACO

I just started playing cornhole this year in March. Starting to get into it more and more here locally. We have a regional ACO tournament next month here. I just purchased some Haggard bags, but I have a chance to buy some used CBC Predator bags. Just wondering if you had any thoughts on these bags and maybe what ACL bags they might be compared to? Thanks

The preds are nice, but if you don't throw perfectly flat they will kick on you, look at the carbons and apex

For the ghost games, would you suggest looking at what the ghost scored before or after you throw because I’ve done both and haven’t found what works better.

Have you ever tried any of the Dead Nutz ACO bags? I have a set of Manna 4/7’s and am looking into possibly getting more of their other bags. They seem very quality for the price, and this is coming from someone who owns Ultra, Killshot, Titan, Gladiator, etc.

Apparently their Carbon’s are supposed to be very similar to Viper R’s, thinking about ordering them

I own mostly Reynolds bags and usually bring 4 different sets. Pro-x (traditional carpet on slow), Renegades (herringbone), Thunder (R carpet), and Fracture (non-carpet, fast bag). Those cover all conditions, but lately been favoring the Thunder as it seems not many people can throw flat so that helps a little and they play well in all conditions.

This also a head game, Confidence is key. Just like in fishing, when nothing is hitting my go-to color lur its time to switch. I've noticed I can lose confidence in one set of bags and switching up can fix it. All in my head, but whatever it takes.

I am definitely a stepper, mainly for the reasons you suggested. I tried standing still but I could not really judge my back swing and front release properly. Plus I didn’t enjoy it. I am back to stepping and will work on improving that. I also like how you throw a flat bag without your hand completely facing up. I am still trying to throw the flat bag.

Ive never thrown ‘pro’ bags before, only the lind you get with a plain set from Amazon. The amazon bags are supposed to be’regulation’ size and weight but they’re also loose and floppy. Is there a huge benefit to throwing these ‘pro’ bags?

Ive never played with the expensive regulation bags. $75-$95 for a set of 4. They dont seem to be as loose and floppy as the bags you get say from Amazon set. Do these expensive bags throw better than a ‘run of the mill’ bag?

I play mostly just local stuff. Minnesota seems semi- resistant to large cornhole organizations. ACO tried coming here, nobody went. ACL does quite a few events that get a decent turnout but there are a lot of people here that refuse to play in an ACL event. I always watch both on streaming though and like both. I feel like ACO looks more fun and has a lot of great players like the Hurt boys and Gary Bearpaw to name a few of many. ACL has the cream of the crop in talent but a lot of the bigger events seem less social.
