I met Andy at an airport the other day and I wanted to learn more about him as a person, been listening to their music for a while, great to hear he's someone that seems so genuine.

As a queer Christian hearing Julien talk about her faith was so special to me. I know I'm watching this 5 years after publication but I'm SO GLAD I came across it today.

I love that. I’m not religious, but I’m always respectful of other people’s beliefs. I wish more religious folk would show me that respect in return. If you claim to be Christian, I don’t know how you can be so filled with anger and hatred for people who don’t live exactly like how you live. You’re just giving yourself a label of godliness, while cherry picking and paraphrasing parts of the Bible to fuel your hatred of others. Religious folk who treat others with love and kindness have my full respect.

I'n the Bible Jesus said that the two most important commandments are to love God and love our neighbour. There is no limit on who that is. Are they living with us in the world? Then we should love them cause they deserve to be loved. It is not always easy and sometimes I don't like them but I count myself as a follower of Christ so that is the path I choose. People who call themselves Christians but act bigoted and excluded people for who they are, I don't see them as people of faith, I see them as religious people. I often hope l am wrong about them but it's rare that is ever more than a hope... And unfortunately, a quick look at history can show you what people have done in the name of religion.... Sorry for the rant, it has just really been on my mind lately.

God loves you, in return you recognize God as something greater than yourself. The worship of “self” is to worship as if you are “God”. That is in turn what Satan wishes you to do. You can search to the greatest depths of your soul to determine your “identity” or who you are. Why? You are Gods creation, anything other than that is an attempt to box yourself in with a label, and then you must adhere to all the beliefs associated that label, forever limiting yourself from truly knowing who you actually are.

My grandmother did exactly the same to me 😯❤. She was a bible teacher. She actually red the Bible for real, several times . She was very openmided, very accepting , not judgmental, very loving person. She was a real exemple, for me, to know what is a real religious person. So when when I saw later, these hateful, judgmental persons who pretend to follow God voice. I knew they were the one to not listen to

You’re a Christian, the other label isn’t necessary. Why? Because then you must adhere to the beliefs associated with being “queer”, when you may not. Labels make us live in a box, forced to stay within the collective agreed beliefs of said label or identity. That will in turn keep you from your own self growth, or even keep you from learning who you actually are.

As a masculine man who lives from the perspective of right or wrong, all I can say is I love your music and I respect you as a human being but theirs no reason to voice this, that’s your life, Music if not your life it’s something you love to do whiles being alive and some how you get paid for that in return of being famous and having to be in the spotlight. Just do what the best musicians do, just speak through your music. Words are a waste if we don’t feel them, speaking is the enemy of feeling even when you want to be heard. But yeah I love you Julian, wishing you the safest and purest journey as a talented musician in Hollywood, and a fulfilling experience through life ❤ “Stay safe, som people want to step on flowers even if they pretend by watering them for awhile” - Connor Da Silva
