It's just a curious question, you don't have to answer and I'm sorry if I sound really stupid, but is the game Minecraft but the textures seem different because of one of the mods or is it an alternative game?

You don’t sound stupid :) <3 It is still Minecraft but there’s a retexture pack which is a mod that changes the texture of all blocks in Minecraft to custom ones :)
