This should play well on basically any kind of computer. If you have performance issues, try changing the Renderer in the Options menu. My recommendation is the TS-DDraw renderer.

I dont have the ra2md.csf file in the folder. Missing text when it loads a mission. Plus midgame it freezes but still hear audio. Any suggestions on how to fix these 2 issues??

Hi I'm having issues with the instalation/gameplay. I've got the game from Steam. So, what I'm doing is installing the mod via the installer, right into the game's directory, that's all good. BUT the game doesn't start any missions, because there are errors popping up, returning me back to the client menu. Is that the Steam version messing things up, same as Mental Omega doesn't work on that at all? Also as a bonus, there was an "update available" (around 270MB) when starting this mod, in one of re-installation attempts. Somehow, the CNCNet client got downloaded and overwritten it, even if I've deleted it from the directory beforehand. So weird..

Hi! So there are some issues with the Steam copy, but they can be worked around. It also sounds like you have CnCnet in the same folder as Flipped Missions, or at least some of its components are loose in there. FM and CnCnet use a similar client system, but don't work together. If you hop onto our Discord server and check Pinned Messages in the tech-support-and-help channel, the top message provides two files that should fix the issues caused by the Steam copy of the game. Hey if I’m only planning on playing the game solo can I just play it through steam? And does the steam version not have access to online which is why you need cncnet if wanting to do online? Thanks

Online play is not officially supported on any buyable version of this game. If you're planning to play solo, you won't need this.

There is a Red Alert 2 checkbox in the top-right of the lobby screen, below Build Off Ally ConYards. That will launch using Red Alert 2 rules instead of Yuri's Revenge rules.

In the Play Online menu you should see a Create Game button in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Click on that and you should see a Password section, just set that to anything you can easily tell your friends, then click Advanced Options. In there you'll be able to pick your Tunnel Server and see the Ping for each server. Hope this helps!

CNCNet is completely safe. I've done some research and sometimes it gets flagged as malware because of the way it prevents online cheating. I've used CNCNet for many years and so have several of my friends, and we've never had any problems.

It won't disable Steam playtime outright, but any time you start the game with the CNCNet launcher won't count towards your total Steam playtime.

I can recommend the Shock Therapy mod for Red Alert 3, that adds the Uprising units to the base game. Sadly Uprising can't even be modded to support online play.

If you get error message: "Could not run executable. The requested operation requires elevation." The following solution (provided by Vodrix) worked for me: Put these files in "Run as administrator": syringe.exe and fmclient.exe, or remove admin access for the file gamemd.exe.

I can play now, even fix renderer setting. But still 1 issue left, no text/text missing. Idk the mission objective, bcoz no text display.

Beutiful mod BTW !!! I had problems aswell but i just unstalled everything (i had mental omega installed aswell Question. is it possible to have both this and mental omega installed ?? Or do i just have to complete them one at the time and then uninstall the other ?

You can have them both. Just make 2 separate directory's. They cannot be in the same one. I have one completely clean, one for MO, flipped missions, YR Redux mod and the test client version of Yuri's Revenge cncnet.
