Dope mix. I always felt Mantronix never got the props they deserved. Mantronik was a dope producer.

That's what I'm saying, in my experience Chinese mixers are "almost there", usually great build and decent sound and controls, but everything else failing, especially the inner connections (faulty humming transformers, buzzing NEW faders). But useful nevertheless 😊

for some reason when i turn on live monitoring in my daw, it makes the recording track sound fucked while recording. like doubled up or something. playing back after it sounds fine, but while monitoring, it sounds like shit. idk why.
@baronvonlichtenstein Жыл бұрын
They're $50 now. But still worth it. The only criticism is they can be a little harsh, adding a tiny bit of harmonic distortion. Otherwise, they sound great, come with a case, extra pads and a decent cord. Good build and very comfortable. And I've compared them to pretty expensive studio headphones. But they probably won't replace the AKG K52 I use for the computer. They are even more comfortable.
@DJJohnnyTapia Жыл бұрын
So I have had them a few years now. And finally one of the plastic parts connecting the band to the left headphone broke. So I am gonna have to replace them. But I still got my $$ Worth out em and they sounded decent especially for price.
@baronvonlichtenstein Жыл бұрын
@@DJJohnnyTapia Balanced, comfortable, good sound separation. Really good deal for what they give you. I use them with the velour pads. They're like the Sony MDR of home listening. I wouldn't risk the Beyer used on the computer for days. Something goes wrong, I'm out $170.

@@dowjones5981 hi, good question. So recently part of the head band finally broke.. I taped them, but it was a temporary fix. I am working on a review of what I replaced it with..and it's in the same price range.

this is amazing ! as a brown man from San Jose born in the 1980s who is a second generation freestyle fan and has been making music for 15 years, I have always wanted to see a video like this! it deconstructs what goes into a legit freestyle beat. so much history and culture in the pattern. good to see the youngster involved in the process at an early age. I wish I started when I was his age instead of watching too many sitcoms and other frivolities 😄✌🏽

Come on lets be real, I've used high end headphones, in ear monitors, and I have used these, when you are Dj'ing Sound quality is out the window, Most times the sound quality is overpowered by the system, I use these most they are comfortable, they have a detachable cord extra earpads and a decent case, they work well mine cost all of $22 on ebay! I checked the reviews on them and the thing got good reviews, they work well!
@DJJohnnyTapia2 жыл бұрын
Agreed I think they are loud and bass comes through. They are not studio monitors level quality. But they do the job 100%
