Part II ethically wrong. Two of Kevin’s favorite lionesses, Meg and Amy, were sold to a lion farm many years ago while Kevin was on holiday. He threw a fit and managed to get Meg and Amy back. That is when Kevin realized that he had no control of the destiny of his lion family. Kevin was able to buy many of the lions from The Lion Park. That is how he got his lions. Most of the lions at the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary are elderly now. Many have already died. He made a promise to take care of them for the rest of their lives. Kevin also has The Kevin Richardson Foundation. The foundation raises money for wild lion conservation.

Part I Kevin Richardson started working at The Lion Park in Johannesburg, South Africa when he was 22 years old (he just turned 46 in October 2020). He found out that The Lion Park was breeding the lions so there would be plenty of cubs for the park visitors to pet. They could not afford to keep all the adults, so they would sell many of them to lion farms. In South Africa, they have what is called the canned hunting industry. This is where tourists come to South Africa (SA) and pay huge fees to pick a lion to be put in a small enclosure, with no hope of escape and then blast the lion with high powered rifles. There are videos on KZbin that show canned hunts. They are brutal, and in my opinion
