I don't judge others (and will defend their rights to) wear a cross, I shan't. The cross is a symbol of torture and death. *plus* nobody knows what shape it was, anyway: a 'T' bar (as in an upper case 'T'), a tau (lower case 'T', the most traditional belief), an 'X' (two pieces crossing each other) or an 'I' (a single stake). The important thing (and, for me, the *only* important thing) is that Jesus died for us, came down off the cross and His temple was rebuilt in three days. There is nothing else that I need to remember or know about his death and resurrection.

Now let`s just have a think about Heaven, The streets are paved with gold, so gold has only minimal value as a road surface material. Do they have money in Heaven or is everything provided free? Do the residents eat? and if so there must also be sewage treatment plants in Heaven, who operates these plants and who does the more menial and unpleasant jobs or does everything operate automatically. Transport, Heaven must be a big place to house all of the Christians who have been sent there through the ages, if I wanted to visit my friends on the other side of Heaven would I walk, ride a donkey, or would there be public transport, who drives the buses? If I drive a car, who provides the fuel and services the car? what type of fuel do they have in Heaven, gas, diesel, electric? all of the residents who died pre 19th century would like to learn how to drive a car instead of riding a horse or camel so when they are involved in a car crash ( which is inevitable ) and are killed or injured are they instantly restored to good health? When you are involved in an altercation with another resident who settles the argument? do they have Heavenly Police and Angelic courts? Are you allowed to have pets in Heaven? If the answer is yes, then what happens when your pet rottweiller eats your neighbors pet poodle? Do they have cattle and sheep in Heaven to provide food for your pet dogs and cats? If you say that it will be just like Earth then you cannot expect to live there forever without there being some trouble at any time in the future. Once you have proven yourself to be worthy of Heaven, must you never change your ideas or question your fellow inmates quirks or idiosyncrasies?, in short, if you follow Gods rules and regulations it will be just like living in North Korea and you have to stay there for eternity or risk being thrown into the hot pit and burned by Satan, Do Christians really believe this nonsense?

Forgive me if it seems like I’m judging, but I’m just in complete disbelief right now. I just came across a whole COMMUNITY of believers that wholeheartedly believe that husbands and wives will become BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN HEAVEN! I have NEVER heard this before and all of their support for this was NOT scripture. Just feelings and interpretations they got from certain scripture that (in my opinion) did not say give ANY idea that we would be brother and sister. My brothers and sisters, we have an entire generation of believers that are being deceived by many modern day churches that aren’t following scripture the way churches have since the days of the disciples of our very own Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was a victim myself until recently. I am not any greater than anybody, but my heart aches for the ones who are being deceived after the Lord gave me new revelations about these things. We have to seek a deeper intimacy with the LORD. No more gibberish in church. No more showmanship. No more charismatic movement. What happened to the fundamentals and when did the modern churches abandon them? We must pray for one another, pray for any church that is not following the complete and entire gospel without watering it down just to fill the seats at the church, pray for those who know they are deceiving and still continue to sin against the Almighty.

I wear mine to show I'm not ashamed of being a follower of Jesus. I used to tuck it in at work because one job there were a few LGBT representatives and I didn't want them to feel uncomfortable. But it made me feel uncomfortable as if I was ashamed of being Christian. Now I wear it proudly, ironically not in a prideful way .

That's not what Matthew says, but only your interpretation of Matthew. Here's what it says "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." What does it say? During the resurrection, there are no marriages being arranged or made. That's it. What about after the resurrection and the final judgement? Jesus says nothing about this. Consider for a moment... Adam and Eve lived together as husband and wife in the Garden of Eden and before the fall. Here they must have been joined together by the Lord Himself and whatever God hath joined, no power on earth (including death or the grave) has any power to anul or undo. Therefore Adam and Eve would have lived forever in the Garden of Eden, as husbands and wife, but they fell from the grace of God and became subject to sickness, old age and death (a temporary condition). So you can not say for certain that there is no marriage in heaven. Besides what kind of heaven would include "male and female created He them" but both forced to live forever, as non-sexual beings? The thought makes reason stare.

Followers of the Church of Rome and Orthodoxy wear a crucifix which is a cross with a corpus (A corpus is the figure of Christ) We at the Christonian Church believe we should wear a plain cross because "Christ has risen" He is no longer on the cross.
