This is so ridiculous. Who would not think that the umbrellas are going around his head in different ways? That's exactly what's happening and there is only one solution to this obvious effect. And, when you look at it, the solution is instantly confirmed and you know exactly where his head is. Might be fun for a comedian however

Assuming that this is like an old trick that I had as a kid. It was a cup that had an outer layer of plastic. His first cup is just a regular cup. The second one has an outer layer that when he pours the milk, it goes into that outer layer only rather than the entire cup. Then, he pours that milk into the next cup, with a thinner outer layer that holds the same amount of milk. Then again for the final cup. It has an even thinner layer again, holding the same amount.

i know i'm late to the party, but are these coins somewhat examinable? Can a spectator separate the two coins?

An utterly pointless video; we need to see the routine(I shouldn't have to state this.)

It would be helpful if viewers see the entire routine. Not some edited version.

There is an absolutely marvellous update to this book. The Annotated Royal Road to Card Magic by Mark Lewis. Foreword by Harry Lorayne. It can be obtained here: (second book down) marklewisentertainment.com/html/magicians.html

Great video! I was looking for this exact discussion. Seems like a magician could use technology to great effect just as long as they’re hiding the use of it. Smoke and mirrors and all that.

Interesting! Akirafist posted this and many other reviews to YT and then after a time disappeared himself. Now his other review videos are gone but this one remains but posted by Penguin Magic.

This is for a gimmick? Couldn't that just be done with pure sleight? I mean, it actually looks like moderately bad sleight of hand... so if there is a gimmick involved, it doesn't seem as though it is particularly useful.

He did it backwards. It’s called Multum in Parvo or Much into Little. The illusion is much stronger pouring a lot into a little space. There’s no explanation. Opposed to pouring a little into a lot. The explanation is that the little is stretched out, either by hidden liquid or something else. Always best to follow the classics closely. That’s why they’re classic!
