A simple "sorry" would've solved the problem, why was there a need to escalate the argument this much. Not to mention the other people showed mercy because the person who disrespected the speaker was a girl. If it was a boy, he would be suspended on spot or at least would get thrown out of the class. The behaviour of both parties were extremely unprofessional. It's like i was seeing children arguing and proving who has a bigger ego than other.

Stating your point normally and straightaway disrespecting someone older than you are two completely different things. And it doesnt harm you to keep your calm and explain your points even if you are in the right and the person is letting his aggression get the best of them. In fact it only shows your maturity. Be it a person younger, older or of your same age who is opposing you. Unless it starts getting something potentially dangerous or physical, you should try to avoid increasing the heat of the arguements. No one looks brave or empowered if they simply shout and quarrel in response like animals in the wild, and they definetly do not look cool. You will only end up looking as some rowdy hooligan 😂😂😂

The girl was clearly talking with the batchmate behind, and she has the audacity to say "what happened". Yes the teachers or professors these days have ego issues and are super toxic but sometimes its the fault of students as well.
