Hang them up somewhere safe but keep looking at them now and again, I do this now and again. the last break I took was almost 10 years. After watching a few videos I recently dusted off my gear and went out again. realised just how much I loved being near the water and am hooked once again. Thank you for the video's, you all take care and hopefully we will see you all again 😊

i was fishing the north gare a few weeks back and noticed that in front of where you are fishing, the water was churning up. could you tell me what i was seeing?

It's the water outlet from the power plant it pumps out the water used to cool down the reactors I think

Well done all on catching flounders and schoolie bass, conditions looked spot on as well with that surf. Would have loved young Ashton to pull a 6 pound bass out lol gulp time for dad - £30 thank you very much. As we head into winter there should be bass all along that stretch with a good sea on, they're partial to cart wing or peeler fished with ragworm. Always a pleasure to watch as always tight lines and keep up the great fishing.

Just I’ve got a 12ft beach caster, with 30lbs line. and I just cannot for the life of me keep the line from being lose after casting out. and it’s really annoying me I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I only started fishing last week.

If your line is lose was it windy we're you went as long as it's not hanging down it can go left to right depending on the direction of the wind & it could be the size of your weight is to light was size weights and were was you fishing?

@thelaggingbrit6697 that's the issue you need something bigger to hold the bottom I use a 6oz weight on my 13 14 & 15ft beach casters it should tell you on your rod what weight it can handle

Well done on catching the flounders guys and the pesky weevers, bet the girls slept well can't beat plenty of fresh sea air. Realistically under those conditions flatties and the rare occasional sea trout are to be about. Canny mark at low water in winter after a big sea in darkness, tight lines as always.

@@GillysFishing-2023 been fishing north gare over 40 years and never had a bass on bait from the end of the pier, have on lures. try off the knuckle where the 1st ramp goes down near the fence, cast into the surf towards the beach , had many from there on ragworm and lures.
