I like your videos. I live in the area. Looks like you're near Uncle Al's. Am I correct? And it looks like frogs are good for the Snake Heads
@gruntsgritz24569 күн бұрын
Yes! That's usually my go to area in Davie. Really anywhere off of Griffen is great for snake heads. Just throw any frog a long side the bank and you catch em!

Is it better to use live baits for peacock or lures. You catch these peacock all over Florida or have to be south? On holiday in Florida from uk soon so be nice to get into some - new sub bro
@gruntsgritz2456Ай бұрын
Hey bud. Thanks for the subscribe and helping out the channel. Right now is the best time of year to go and I'm making another video this week of peacock fishing. As far as live bait vs lures I like live bait in these smaller spots were there are too many Lilly pads to fish lures. If wide open my favorite lure to catch peacocks on are poppers. South East coast is definitely the location to catch them starting in Miami up to west palm. Miami is probably better with larger peas. You can still catch them up in west palm and even the west coast. You can always hit me up on Instagram for my questions

Good job mate, I'm watching from Australia. It amazes me how many aquarium fish are now invasive in Florida.
@gruntsgritz24562 ай бұрын
Awesome to hear someone from Australia is watching my channel! Yes it makes great fishing but sucks for our native species.

Interesting set up. Do you have a motor kill switch attached to your body in case you fall from the kayak?

No! But that is an excellent suggestion and have thought of it when in rough ocean conditions

Every fish I have caught from the canals in that area have been delicious!. Oscars and cichlids are just great, as are the peacocks. I can't wait to go down there again with my bass tracker. Much safer than kayaks
