I figured out how to do this with three digit bicycle chain locks, when I was very young and every combination lock, like this, even some padlock type combination locks, I can open. i've always done this the same way. just by putting pressure on the release and turn it till I either couldn't get it. Turn it till it would not turn any further. Then I would have to let off of the release, and it would be the next number up and then the next number and the next number all the same way. they assigned us push button locks for our lockers. In Jr High the shank was smooth. There was nothing to catch it except the spring. On the other side. i figured out you could raise the lock to where it was upside down in the latch. Then , push on it, the top part of the latch was just the right size so you could take the lock lock, turn it upside down. hit it against the locker and unlock. The shank was long enough to hang off the bottom of the latch, but turned upside down. The shank was too small, so the latch was like a pry bar and when pressed against it pryed the shank away from the lock it popped open it wasn't long before the entire school found out.

I used "J" channel, the same ones used for vinyl siding. You can get 10 foot sections for about $7 each at Lowes and one 10 foot section does one full string of lights (I cut them in half for easy transport). The connectors can be bought on Amazon or directly from China through Aliexpress or Temu, just search on 3 pin LED connector. They also make extension cables that are 6 and 10 foot long if you need to separate a string for a short distance. Hope this helps.

Battery is critical, often overlooked. Before doing anything, check the trickle voltage to the battery, that's what keeps it charged between runs. Should be over 13v generally. If not, battery isn't getting charged to start the unit when needed. I've changed the standard clamp leads to marine grade terminals, cables are attached with lug ends, then sprayed with NOCO anti corrosion spray. When the unit is running, battery voltage should be over 14v, and yes battery should have full cell levels of distilled water. If you disconnect battery, Generac procedure is to remove 7.5 amp fuse at control unit, then disconnect white charge wire above the battery. After reconnecting battery, reconnect charge wire and insert 7.5 amp fuse. Then check all trickle and run voltages. May all sound like overkill, but the worst time to find out battery issues is when you lose primary power......
