@@unclemarksdiyauto 2013 dodge dart limited. It’s the same deal as yours but where you took off your bottom bolt for the caliper bracket . You have room to put a socket and ratchet with no extension because your control arm isn’t blocking your ratchet from snapping on to the socket . I got the top one out fine . But I tried using an extension on the bottom one and I can’t get it to break loose because the extension is making the ratchet bounce too much and I’m having a hard time steadying it because my extension takes my ratchet all the way out inside my spring . @@unclemarksdiyauto Actually, I really like your video! Of course, I like Red Green''s sped-up B&W videos--they're the best part of the show. Yeah, my channel's pretty much just...useless, except for the vacuum part install (posted so people who buy my part off eBay don't destroy it trying to fit it in.) You're right, I should do some videos on actually making the pyro stuff, god knows there's enough out there showing people really unsafe methods. @@unclemarksdiyauto Hell, this video's perfect--jumps right into how to make the repair without 20 minutes of exposition (to hit those precious KZbin metrics). Watching videos at 1.25x - 1.5x is a good way to cram info--the speech is still understandable but the action's sped up. I gotta replace the lamp in my oldest son's Caravan that he "inherited" when his mom got a new SUV. We just spent 8 hours putting on new control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links, and brakes (plus replacing a stuck caliper), only to have it fail state inspection because that damned light went out at some point in the 3 days between when we gave it the quick once-over and when we dropped it off for inspection. Murphy's Law. I once had a headlight go out *while I was pulling the car into the garage to be inspected.*

Number one you do never ever use a hammer to hit the wrench. You were lucky not to break the rear glass window. Always use some real penetrating oil which WD40 is not and give it time. Second is when you replace the plastic arm with a metal one you have to remove that little nut with a nut splitter which sits on the thread, otherwise your wiper arm does not slide all the way down for to be mounted and sit properly. I was wondering how you were able to tighten the screw in the first place. It sure did not work on my mini van . Maybe you have a longer thread on yours.
