Nobody ever managed to explain to me why the depiction on the shroud more or less resembles the artistic consensus that developed a few hundred years after Jesus’ death. There are no descriptions of Jesus in the Bible or in the traditions. Schwartz is just a commercial guy, who made the shroud his livelyhood.

Reliable carbon dating of the shroud has established its creation in the Middle Ages when it first appeared in the literature, and the image that appears is anatomically incorrect. Facts do not cease to exist by ignoring them. Jesus turned over the tables of the moneychangers defiling the temple, and this hucksterism for cash is almost as offensive. Read your Bible. Don't watch this garbage.

Here in 2024, there is not an intelligent person anywhere that has actual common sense that is going to believe that some genius medieval mad scientist made the Shroud in his hut somewhere. Hard to believe that there is anyone today that could actually be that dumb. 🤦♂ It was almost *20 years ago* that Dr. Raymond N. Rogers, a scientist at Los Alamos National Scientific Laboratories in New Mexico proved that the carbon testing was done in error as the sample taken was from non-original part of the Shroud. You have not studied anything at all about the Shroud, have you? How the fabric, the pollen and dirt on it at date to Biblical days of Jerusalem? They have _proven_ was that it contained a body that was beaten like Jesus was, scourged like Jesus was, was crucified wearing a crown (more of a cap) of thorns. What kind of moron is going to believe that this was somebody _other_ than our Lord Jesus?

Since there were many Roman crucifixions, it could be any individual's shroud. However, the radiation event is remarkable. A miracle. A miracle in the time of Christ. Not just anyone's shroud. A truly mysterious miracle.

How could any followers of Yeshua Jesus know to place blood with the serum separated from the lance wound to around the back of The Man so perfectly, for that matter any of the blood seepage? (Spelling)? Anyway, there are the blood tracers up the arms and the many thorn injuries on the Head. Who would know to get that all correct? Also, there's the Suderium of Oviedo with its matches to the Shroud? I have listened to many, many scientists over the years since l bought my first book on the Shroud in 1979 by Ian Wilson. The Shroud was folded into a square shape and moved and hidden over the centuries! Sorry, l can't agree with this guest. Thank you!

Fun fact : there is over 1,000,000 species of flies and each fly has about 7,000 eyes and only a few legs and there is an estimated 10 QUINTILLION flies alive at anytime thats over 500 times the amount of ants FOR FLIES ALONE. Considering that microscopic animals also have eyes and microscopic animals that live in the water like krill and plankton not even including fish,sharks, squid, ext ext ext. lets take a moment to so some math 10 quintillion (the amount of flies alive at any given moment ) times 7000 (the average amount of eyes that flies have) and you get 7 x 10^22 power which is in the SEPTILLIONS A NUMBER WITH 24 ZEROS AFTER IT WHICH IS AT LEAST I MIND YOU OVER 200 TIMES THE AMOUNT OF GRAINS OF SAND AT 5 SEXTILLION. If that does not convince you that eyes would DESTROY ARMS BY AN INSANE MARGIN I DONT KNOW HOW I COULD

These says, only someone just _morbidly_ stupid and/or ignorant is going to call the Holy Shroud a fake. All of us with an actual brain know that it was *proven* by many dozens of doctors, scientists, archeologists, and other highly trained researchers and *tens of thousands of hours* of examinations that the Shroud most definitely wrapped the body of a severely beaten, scourged and crucified man that was wearing a crown or cap of thorns when he died. Very few people out there, other than atheists, are quite idiot enough to believe that this was someone other than Jesus Christ.

Yes, limestone compounds can change over time, primarily through weathering processes where rainwater containing dissolved carbon dioxide slowly dissolves the calcium carbonate in limestone, leading to the formation of caves and other geological features; under extreme heat and pressure, limestone can also metamorphose into marble, significantly altering its structure and appearance. Limestone sample from thousands of years ago compared to modern Limestone sample would be different. Have to factor in weathering.

His Blood is totally unique because JESUS was the only human ever conceived Preternaturally ,so He belonged to no earthly race or species of sexually generated human beings! It takes GOD given Faith to Know this.This is Knowledge of The Truth, not " belief". And keep in Mind the physical, visible world is a simulation, where no form endures. The Shroud is an " authentic relic", but it will not be seen in Heaven's Pure Glory.

The shroud cannot be an image of Christ. Jews of his time all had short hair and the scriptures state it is shameful for a man to have long hair. God in the flesh would not have long hair if His own Word tells us it is shameful. This is because long hair makes men look effeminate, which is shameful in the eyes of God. 1Corinthians 11[14] Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?[15] But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. Also, the burial cloth of Jesus was swaddling cloth, which is a long, narrow strip of cloth used for wrapping a body, like those used by the Egyptians when they mummified people. This was the same burial tradition of the Jews. Jesus' body was WOUND in swaddling cloth, not a large sheet, A narrow, long strip of cloth was WOUND around and around his body from head to toe. Matthew 27 states the body of Jesus was wrapped in swaddling cloth: Matthew 27[59] And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped [entulissō] it in a clean linen cloth, entulissō; to entwine, that is, wind up in: - wrap in John records the swaddling cloth Jesus was wrapped in also. The words "linen clothes" in passage 7 is translated from is the word "othonion", which means cloth that is wound around the body like a bandage - swaddling cloth. John.20 [5] And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. [6] Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, [7] And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. John 19[40] Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. From the lexicon of Greek language: othonion; a linen bandage: - linen clothes. Luke 23 also states the body was wrapped in swaddling cloth: Luke 23 [52] This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. [53] And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. Jesus was wrapped in swaddling cloth as an infant by Mary in the manger. This marked him for death for our sins. It is the same type of cloth used for burial by the Jews and Egyptians: a long, narrow strip of cloth wound around the body. Luke 2 [7] And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. [12] And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. The shroud is not swaddling cloth. Moreover, the image in the cloth depicts a man far older than Jesus who was 33 yrs. old when he died.

If you actually are so _incredibly stupid_ as to believe the Shroud is a fake, then you must explain how whoever fabricated it must have: 1. Known the precise methods of crucifixion in the first century. 2. Be proficient enough in over 100 scientific disciplines and also collectively outweigh the intelligence of the people who performed hundreds and hundreds of tests on the Shroud and who are not finding any indications of a forgery. 3. Possessed the medical knowledge of a modern expert surgeon. 4. Utilized an art process unknown to any great master, never duplicated before or since. 5. Be able to foresee and approximate principles of photographic negativity that would not be discovered for centuries. 6. Imported a piece of old cloth of Middle Eastern manufacture. 7. Used a coloring agent which would be unaffected by intense heat. 8. Be able to incorporate in his work details (that have only recently been discovered), that the human eye cannot see and that are visible only with the most advanced computer-scanning devices. 9. Be able to reproduce flawlessly, on a nearly flat linen surface, in a single color, undistorted 3-D characteristics of a human body in a 'negative format' on the tops of the threads, while conversely showing the 'blood' as positive and soaking all the way through. 10. Get somewhere the blood of a tortured man and apply it before creating the image. 11. Get limestone from Jerusalem, and pollen particles from the middle east, in special from plants with thorns, that flourish only between March and April.
