you can't change how your fingers. Not even a million years of practice will make your pinky and ring finger work independently. It's how you're born. most people have a muscle that connect these 2 fingers very less people have separate muscles for each finger. and this guy has that
@unkoine7 жыл бұрын
Well, I for one have seen a big improvement in my independence in those fingers. And it was only in response to this exercise.

I knitted these socks a few years ago and knitted them along with your videos. Now I'm knitting them again and I remembered your video, so I searched it for the re-cast on. Very helpful! Thank you!

I'm currently learning how to play the piano and this video has been very useful! I'll try and practice the exercise to strengthen my ring and middle fingers. Thanks so much! Do you know any other exercise I can do?
@unkoine7 жыл бұрын
Hello there! Welcome to the wonderful world of piano. :) You'll find lots of exercises to play by Czerny, Hanon, and other composers. Just search for "Piano Etude", and you'll get lots of recommendations. I prefer playing Czerny myself. His stuff is pretty and melodic. I also enjoy Burgmuller.

I just want to say thank you very much for these videos, and you are awesome with showing & describing :) I've been using your videos for 2.5 years to fit my family members. This style of slipper is the exact style my Grandma would knit for Christmas. She passed away 2.5 year ago. I was so happy to come across your videos then & I'm still using them to pass on my Grandma's love to others. Thanks again!! Take care

Thanks for this video. Years later (and after they changed the pattern up some for a Jo-ann's promo) it is more helpful than Yarnspirations.

Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me wether you increase one row after the other, or every other row? And I was wondering the same thing with decreasing for the sleeves. Any feed back would be great. Thank you

Hi Michelle. It's been 5 years since I made that cardigan. I don't remember it at all. You'll be able to get help from Yarnspirations Customer Support by emailing them at [email protected]

I love your tutorials. I need to undo 11 garter stitches off of my needle. Can this be done?
@unkoine7 жыл бұрын
Of course! You just need to take it slow, and be very careful. I once had to undo about 40 stitches. It was a pain, but I did it.

Hello,I live in a very hot weather, and I would like to make a baby blanket (I don't mind hand wash it :) .Would this type of yarn work for my project? If not, what kind of yarn should I use for a summer blanket? Thank you
@unkoine7 жыл бұрын
I think it would work well in a hot climate, since the bamboo helps to wick away moisture.

Where did you get that yarn? Love the colors!
@unkoine7 жыл бұрын
I bought it at AC Moore. But, you can get the same shade by ordering Lily Sugar 'n Cream in the color Psychedelic Ombre. www.yarnspirations.com/yarn/lily-sugar-n-cream.html

I am a right handed person. But my little and ring finger on the right hand are weaker than my left hand. There is a peculiarity about this. The 5-3 configuration (E-G in C major scale) on my right hand is VERY difficult to achieve. On my left hand I can strike 5-3 finger simultaneously quite comfortably with the 4 being up. This I can't do cleanly on my right hand. I have recurring tendonitis problem (both inside and outside) on my right elbow. Any suggestion how I can deal with this?

I have been searching high and low online looking for a video of how to make this slipper my Grandmother used to make (the classic phentex stripped slipper - with pom poms :) ) and cannot find it. Would you consider making a video, from the very start to the end? I am an inexperienced Knitter and trying to learn.
@unkoine7 жыл бұрын
Hi Barb! I've never made that pattern myself, but if I ever do, I'll keep your request in mind. Happy Knitting!

Makes great srubbies for use at at the sink!! Knit 15 rows of 25 sts or so in a tube ( I use an Addi Pro knitting machine) or 20 rows flat in garter stitch. Great way to use scraps.
