@@Tasarak Likewise, I used to look forward to our raids too. Haven't considered checking out Classic honestly. Just thinking back to how much time I used to sink into the game makes me feel like I'll never be able to do something like that again. I'm still friends IRL with Gamon the warrior who was my roommate at the time we were raiding. Him and I both have wives now and he's expecting his first kid!

@@alexm2113 Yeah, I would scale back my time, but it also would be easier this time around. I never knew you & Gamon were roomates back in the day, very cool, glad you both found happiness with the wives. Hey they could be healers this time around? Enjoy the life ride. =)

@@Tasarak Void! Good times indeed. Me and Headshot are still IRL best friends. Sy(wega?) (hunter) and Innoxx (warrior) ended up getting married! Haven't kept up with anyone else. Hope life has been treating you well!

@@Tasarak I'm kind of burned out on classic. I did the whole reroll on a new server, officer and or lead top guild on server, ebay when geared to the teeth quite a few times. When the free Xfers happened from whisperwind to that pvp server I took the xfer and ebayed void (pvp server chars went for more) I got glad in season 1 and ebayed (death wish + enrage stacking, stormherald, what a time to be a warrior) and I haven't really played sense. All I've heard is the game has gotten worse and worse after wrath. Classic would be amazing, but I just don't think it will recapture the joy of me being at a time in my life where I had nothing to worry about so I could look forward to raiding every night, farming in off time, and not worry about bills or gaining more certifications to progress in my career. Adulting sucks and as the goblins say... Time is money. The nostalgia would be great, but I just don't feel like the joy and feelings that made me love classic can be replicated. I'll always view Vanilla WoW as some of the best times I ever had gaming.

@@Syntak191 I completely understand. I haven't played any MMO since then. ( I quit WOW in 08) & never played since. I don't expect it to recapture the magic we once enjoyed but none-the-less I was on board with the game mechanics & the cool people we had. Hey we all have to adapt as we grow older, but maybe something out there will pique our interest. I'm looking at Camelot Unchained & possibly Pantheon Rise of the Fallen to possibly fill my MMO gap. Glad you came across this, took me a while to find original on hard drive which I did toss many years after. Take it ez. =)

Back then in LA was Beat Stop and DMC Records. They were the place back in 93 to get your tapes and vinyl records..

i think u run in too quick alot of the time you are getting interupted, you should try getting too a higher position rather than standing with the "rest of um"

@Grendelrex I hear ya on the clear viewing field. I have it happen where someone was partially showing. Also when you get close up on parts of the walls of the keep it can be annoying. I find that the dots are never where that person is either. Lag or the coding, either way it's not as useful as I would hope. My regular group it's never a problem, so I should close it, however when I'm with a pug, people tend to split sometimes.

@Grendelrex I felt I wasted too much power too & I needed to stun more. Map is left up to see party members in case we get split up & I can see where they need back up. Not because I don't know where I'm at. =)

@OvidBrono Thx. I wish I was playing this type of game back then. A friend of mine played this solid for 8 yrs & swears this is by far the best MMO game/experience ever. This game is way more entertaining then any of the new MMO's currently out imo The interupts are what make this game even more enjoyable when playing a caster. You cannot make mistakes or you will pay. Call me old school, but this type of gameplay needs to be encouraged & replicated in the future.

@Grendelrex True. However my role for defense keep to uncloak stealth where ever they may be. Normally I spec Void but changed it for this battle to see how it worked out. Also this is my first month playing DAOC but any useful critisism is encouraged. =)

@TeacherNine Normally I have quickcast bound but for this battle I forgot to assign. I'll see about moving that camera further back. =)

Good times, should probs scroll back a bit on camera so you can see a greater area around you and as a mana eld; having quickcast qbound or at least on your bar is a good plan. See you in Molvik.
