I wish it was possible to mod an emulated MKDD so that 8 separate controller inputs could play simultaneously on a single console(emulation) for Local Co-op Multiplayer, such as a 4-way split-screen featuring P1 & P2 vs P3 & P4 vs P5 & P6 vs P7 & P8 (Red & Blue vs Green & Yellow vs Pink & Orange vs Cyan & Purple)

The camera *is* kind of a pain when it comes to two-player runs, yeah. It takes some getting used to.

Right. The bug only prevents BOTH players from playing that stage at the same time. If only one person is playing, either Toad will work.

You have at least two players sharing the same kart at all times, meaning Players 1 and 2 have their kart while Players 3 and 4 have their own kart, but are allowed to enter into the grand prix as a way to saying "Only two players are able to compete in the grand prix and that's about it. If you do more than two players, the option for grand prix would nto be accessible." Anyway, I look forward to seeing how this goes from here, even though this video is now two+ years old at this point. But at least Mario Kart Double Dash has now turned 20 years old already from when it was released in 2003. 06:04 Oooo dear one stayed on NOOOO all four of you fell off together!!! Oh dear... 08:47 Woooww, player four got really lucky getting a star item TWICE...Even I can't get star item twice normally with me controlling the two kart racers rather than one. 12:12 Oh good lord that's funny. Both Players 1, 2, 3, and 4, plus the Yoshi+Birdo team also get thrown in the air as well. LOL Yoshi circuit can easily be described as the both of you fighting over first place, to which one of the CPUs sniped it after luckily not getting hit by lightning and taking first place from Players 1 and 2, gosh darn it man you were very close to getting first. Oh well. 24:40 Not only Players 3 and 4 got sniped by Players 1 and 2, but also Players 3 and 4 tumbled while using a mushroom at the same time, lol. Much like Yoshi Circuit, both of you were fighting for first place, but nothing happened too much. Hopefully that changes soon. Well then, Captainsonic and Sans win the all cup tour. Poor Lunala and Rosie, better luck next time.

I think they just randomly threw the kitchen sink at this game in an attempt to make it "better" than the original, but without any direction. Sometimes "more" isn't better. I think the biggest addition for the sequel should have been left and right scrolling in the levels similar to defender. Adding different levels was a good idea, but I think they needed a more cohesive design instead of being so random. I also don't think the ability to transform into a Pegasus was a good addition, it was just too much of a pain in the rear to use it and I think a powerup system would have been a better addition. I don't think Joust 2 is a bad game, but it is a bad sequel IMO and it isn't surprising that it didn't sell very well.
