As near as I can tell - I run those "fakelites," a bunch of Croatian steelies, US Palm limited edition translucent green alien polymer mags, and a 75 round drum in it, they all fit and lock in fine, feed okay too.

I believe the bag link is in the video description - grabbed it on Amazon. It's not OE, but it's built like it. They come at a fraction of the cost, are easy to change, and if they last 60-80k miles, they're cheap enough to do again.

Only near the highways and interstates. I have a bit of an issue tuning the antennas - not really sure what's going on, but I've been told my reception should be a whole lot clearer than what I'm getting right now. I might need to buy better whips and cabling.

@@bgo3640 so far so good. Before I did any work on this, I was told to expect not much more than 60k miles out of a bag before they begin to fail. These are inexpensive and easy enough to change that I can live with that interval.

In the beginning, before I removed anything, I went into the infotainment system and set the air ride into "jack mode" which turns off the sensors and compressor. After the bag is replaced, I replaced all the trim and wheel liner, jacked up the axle to meet the deflated bag, then bolted the wheel back on, then lowered the frame back down so the truck would "bottom out" once the tire touched the pavement. Took the system out of jack mode, and the compressor did the rest on first startup. I didn't bother with replacing the Nitrogen in the tank - it's a giant waste of money. The compressor intake filter is behind the passenger tail light, and if memory serves has a check valve in it. Also, I live in south Texas where air line antifreeze isn't quite as important. I have considered an in-line air drier, but haven't done it yet - just gave the intake line a little squirt of air line oil. You have to remember, that Nitrogen is an incredibly small particle, and the system will lose some over time through seepage. The system was designed to use regular air when the system runs low through the intake tube behind the tail light. Most people aren't even aware of the redundancy, let alone that the system originally had Nitrogen in the scuba tanks under the bed.

I'm actually responding to video comments and requests for my range trips so next weekend I'll bring it along and show you, along with a few other requests.

It's good to see they're still priced reasonably in some places. I've seen some go north of 3k. The 310, and 357NG's are also on my wish list. I wouldn't mind having the 329 too.

That job would be ... what I'd probably call medium difficulty - mostly because of the tools needed. I have to be honest, I still need an alignment but since this car stays in storage most of the year, I'm holding off til I do the front ones in an upcoming video as soon as the weather cools down a bit. I can't honestly remember how I came up with the Samuel L's system, but when it happened, it felt right. I think it had to do with the number of scrapes, cuts, and MF's I'd shout. :D

I don't honestly recall - I remember ordering it through Rock Auto. It's been in there a few years, seems to be just fine though. Out of all the cooling system parts, this is one of the easier parts to change, so if it only lasts 5 or 6 years, it's simple enough to replace again if and when the time comes.

I fought heating issues quite a bit over the years. I ended up doing the pump, all the hoses, the radiator and the thermostat/housing twice. Be sure your electric fans are kicking on, max A/C should spin the electrics up as the engine warms up. After a full flush, I ended up draining the entire system and upgrading to Xerex G40 coolant and distilled water. Even with an oil cooler seal failure and oil creeping into the cooling system, it never gets past halfway now. I'll be eliminating the oil cooler pretty soon if I can't rebuild the seals in it.

@@SeanPwnery electric fan is the fan in front of Radiator? I want to avoid replacing that and Radiator for now 😀.

@@JKOGREY It's behind it, and yeah that radiator is a royal PITA to change out. I ended up having to gently bend one of the a/c hard lines to get the old one out and the new one in.

They offer a red one that looks like Chinese furniture.
