Recognized the trails...I was a dummy and traded my 92 WR250 for a 92 WR500Z which I still have. I need to find another WR250...Great old bikes...I wore out a XR250R on those trails back in the day...
@marcumfleet5026 ай бұрын
Right on dude. I have this and a 92 WR200. I joke that the 500 is the last I need to finish my WR collection.

Sounds like she's dialed in pretty good.. What pipe are you using? Having a hard time finding one for my 82 175

This is actually a custom pipe on this one of my 175s. It feels great. It came with the bike when I bought it, but it looks very homemade.

Had a 79 IT 175 like that, it looks great in the deep woods. And for sure 2nd gear! Only bike that didn’t want to start? The new bike. What a brutal day too, at least for us old guys. Ah man I wanted to see you on the 79’ get it out of 1st.

Yea his took a while to start his bike after he fell over in the puddle. Yea he is used to riding a KLX250 usually. His first time on a 2 stroke.I have videos of me on the IT175 on my channel pushing it a bit more.

Is the 1989 yz250 swingarm any different from the yz250wr? I have a wr and I'm wonderjng if i can buy yz250 parts for it being that the only thing different with the 250wr is the gearing
@marcumfleet5025 жыл бұрын
Very few differences. Only in engine, swing arm should be the same

How do you like your bike? I found one almost mint with title. I’m debating on getting it. I love the way they look.
@marcumfleet5026 жыл бұрын
Love it for the tight woods. I think the Wide Ratio makes a big difference. It's not a screaming fast 250, but it can lug pretty low and not throw a fit, good for the tight single track we have around here in Western Oregon. I've owned it for about 4-5 months now, no regrets i love it. If you ride stuff that looks similar to my videos then I'd for sure have to recommend it.

Thank you sir. I try to make it point not to blame equipment. It's a poor musician that blames his instrument. I'm currently running IRC Trail Winner GP-110s. My rear is almost new and the front is about half cooked. They are great on the pavement for commuting, and have done well in the summer on these same trails, this is the first time I have had traction problems with em. These trails are in western Oregon towards the Coast, between a view point called Sheridan Peak and an OHV area called Elk Flats. Are you a KLR650 rider as well?

Ah that's too bad, the winters here in Oregon are usually pretty mild so winter rides happen quite frequently. We went on a 100 mile ride, so I don't think only using 2 gallons would have gotten me home haha I just uploaded another video from this trip, a lot more tight single track trails if you're interested.
