Really awesome work! I love how you explain different aspects of painting. Could you perhaps go into your thoughts behind composition in a future video?

Linear polarizer over light and linear polarizing lens filter. You rotate the lens filter and when the direction of polarizing lines is perpendicular to the lines of the film, reflections are virtually eliminated

I usually lack attention span, but dude - for the first time in (I don't know) I was stunned for 13 minutes straight. I didn't even blink or have any thoughts other than just soaking up every word. Not only that, but I've been following you for a while (maybe since that first version) - I'm speechless. I have artist's block - and your candid, true artist talk goes deep. I needed this lesson, I can't even tell you how much. Your perspective is great, I would love to sit with you at brunch in your studio. Thank you for sharing this with us.

who turned on the stove? Did she turn it on, sat down and lit the cig, stood up and turned it off? Was it on all the time? Is there someone else in the room? Why did he/she left the stove after turning it on (and off shortly after)? If someone'd be right there, he/she would be visible in the reflexions. Someone's acting weird here.

it’ll probably show up on the face of the canvas once it’s completely stretched and leave a mark on the painting.

@@oohsohai think you are wrong i believe its so when he hammers those lil wedges in the staples don't stop the canvas from stretching literally. ha ha ha. HAWK TUAH.
@oohsoha7 күн бұрын
@@benji3663 possibly. i’ve never really seen anyone staple their stretchers like this before and i don’t personally do this with mine either.

Personally, I wouldn’t use staples…. Or stretch a canvas since I don’t paint. Looks great tho!

My father owned a picture framing studio and before that worked hanging all of the art at a well-known museum and before that got his BFA. I learned how to properly stretch an archival canvas early in life. When u know what's crucial, u can adjust it all to fit ur budget.
