Hi mate :) I have a question (sorry offtopic), what do you use to hold your exhaust in the LO206? I have 2 CRG FS4 (original suplied with LO206) and from factory they use only one fixaction point directly to the back of the engine, this means I am breaking exhaust studs like crazy. Sometimes the stud is brocken so close to the cylinder head that I have to send the engine to workshop to bore the stud out, not expensive but really anoying as you can guess. Since you guys are racing LO206 for long time I am sure there is some kind solution for this. Regards from Portugal
@JaMRacing8 күн бұрын
That is the only location to mount the bracket for the exhaust and the second bracket is on top to the top plate. What I do is ask for the engine to be studded straight when they come out or when I get the motor I remove the washer from the bolt going into the head and use some lock tight to keep it in place. Hope this helps.

206 class should strictly not allow drafting, that way best motor, and setup, and driving skill wins the race, not the 3,4, or 5 karts that start a draft at the beginning of the race, thats not even. I raced 206 in 23, hated it, not fun at all. Im sticking with tag, X30 and ROK GP.

206 can’t pull this race track without drafting. There’s no braking They tried no drafting and it’s very dangerous

Is the motor you were telling me about where he installed a racing cam, higher compression piston and removed the rev limiter? LOL. I am curious....with the exchange rate the way it is, was this less money than buying state side? If they had to import it to Canada then I guess not, but if they assembled it different story. Thanks for sharing the excitement on a new toy.

I have both 225RS and LO206. Been using on the same CRG FS4 chassis and CRG KT2. In the racetrack near my home the 225RS will get 2 seconds faster (with a 7500rpm PVL ignition) at the moment I have the 225RS boxed and stored, and I’m using 2 LO206 just because the 225 it’s terrible to start (I mean TERRIBLE, even when it’s warmed the LO206 focos start its better). I tried address this to engine supplier, they shipped another fm22 carb and same thing. The thing about a 4 stroke is the simplicity, reliability, etc. 225’s in Europe had a pretty good start with lot of chassis, engines, their championship. But people in Europe are going for animal now, it’s a platform more then proved in the USA and quality it’s overall better. If anybody have a question about one or another, just remember we (Europe) started with Hondas (and clones) then the tillies and at the moment people are moving to animal, fact. Regards from Portugal!

To bent a chassis (either it’s 28mm tubes) in front impact need to be a hell of impact, that I am sure. There’s some soft materials (plastics from bumpers), brackets, supports to dissipate energy. Glad to know everyone is OK!
