His technical interviews are even worse. He constantly asks the most surface level benign boring questions when he is talking to people who are expert software engineers. He had John Carmack on his show and legit asked him what his favorite code editor is and what his computer setup is. This is like having a world class chef in an interview and asking him what his favorite brand of knives is. Nobody who is a serious programmer would give a shit about that answer. The only people who care are first year vs students who don't know any better, and people who pretend to be programmers but secretly only know how to install Linux. What a joke.
