Wow, you got me a little choked up. You're such a great storyteller. Maybe it's your soothing voice. Maybe it's the content and historical contexts. Whatever it is -- keep doing what you're doing. Makes me wonder what it must have been like to live during the height of the Khmer Empire. And cheers to Cambodia's prosperous future. I can't wait to visit soon!

Hey Mark, we did it in October and it was a wonderful time to go (if it doesn’t rain too much). We did it the first time over Christmas but then its quite misty and cold in the mountains😅

I like your vlogs but recently j read that the locals have had enough of tourists running around the Angkor wat...for them it's a place of historical importance and their peaceful surrounding.It never struck me until I read that piece.

Yeah we understand that. They do have a sanctioned Marathon there usually in November. But renting bicycles there to cycle around was a lot of fun😃

@K8andGustav yes, actually it had more to do with some internet game" Temple run" done inside the premises...which tourists got inspired to run and jump inside the temples and touching the carvings. I'm really enjoying your videos.. keep going👍

I can swim very long but I can't run. I'm also a swim instructor and I've been training the marathon runners for their endurance and breathing. Kate looks very good marathon running and the ancient ruins even gave more special feelings. Enjoy your time in the city temple of SR👍

If you love running, you should attend Angkor wat international half marathon, they held every year, mostly end of the year! In fact, they just finished the event last Sunday 1st! Extra information they also have an upcoming Angkor Wat Indochine Marathon (full marathon) around the archeological park! The route is spectacular! You can research more for the details!
