Why is it so important to tie it to / explicitly mention the black civil rights movement of the 60s and slavery? Like, unless a 6 year old is playing this game, the audience knows about those struggles. The whole game is an analogy of the civil rights movement, you don't explicitly mention the thing you are actively doing an analogy of. That would be distracting and heavy handed.

Turns out Days Gone is a classic and everyone loves it now.

The worst one I think I've ever not walked out of was the recently released "Don't Worry Darling" which was so fucking boring and bullshit and repetitive. I was so upset I didn't walk out.

I remember thinking at the time that they should have fired the guy that stole from the KZbinr, then paid the KZbinr what the other guy was going to make, and compensate him with a link to his channel and just use his video as the review for whatever level of compensation he would be ok with. Do a statement saying plagiarism is not okay under any circumstances with multiple members of the staff signing a statement, and scrub his other work from the site. You'd help the smaller KZbinr, clean your hands from the shithead, clear your staff of any wrongdoing (they didn't do anything but you get rid of the ammo for trolls), don't have any other stolen shit on your site, and you don't have to change the score/go about hiring someone else to review it, potentially giving it a lower score and hurting the developer as well. IGN isn't smart enough to do that, but that's what any smart publication would do as someone who has worked in publications since high school.

Aaaaaaaand Google Stadia has officially been discontinued!!! Any and all digitally purchased goods from full-on games, DLC, et cetera, straight-up everything has been refunded. I learned about this from the recent Giantbomb Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 videos with Dan Ryckert, Jess O'Brien, and Jeff Grubb. It makes me wonder if Google is cancelling this service, permanently, for good, or, if they are just putting this service on the shelves for the foreseeable future.

During covid lockdown, while waiting for a PsV, I broke out my ps3 (which I've kitted out to house a few generations of the majority of my favorite PS library games in the drive) and dug up the large box that still contains all of our old Ps1 game discs. I went back and not only played all my old favorites to see if they still held up and hot damn... I loved every second of it. Not only that, but I now have my ps5 but am still playing the ps1 games more frequently. The games that I think held up the best: Castlevania SOTN Metal Gear Solid Jet Moto Warhawk Twisted Metal 1&2 Gran Turismo 2 Valkyrie Profile Jumping Flash Diablo X-Com (the mouse helps a lot) Die Hard Trilogy (dumb but fun) Sled Storm Tony Hawk 2 Vandal Hearts Front Mission 3 Medal of Honor Underground Tenchu Soul Caliber Tekken 2 (a game I didn't care for when it was new but it plays great for a 3D fighter today) Hogs Of War Herc's Adventures Vagrant Story Crono Cross Alien Trilogy (dumb fun) Beyond The Beyond Suikoden 1 & 2 Breath of Fire 3 G-Police Colony Wars And this list is now too long but my point is that I love this machine and the games it gave me. I wouldn't bother with this mini classic nonsense except to jail break it but the PsX has literally thousands of hours of solid game play even today if you just focus on fun and less on how blocky Lara Croft looks.

It seems like a cool game. If famed cat lover Jeff Bakalar likes it then you know it's good.
