going insane abt all of this and the other comments are saying it all but i specifically adore how you made the "revolution" transition into anthy and utena holding hands and the montage of anthy and utena being close... only you REVERSED it so theyre not pulling swords from each other... so theyre pushing them back in and anthy is caressing utenas cheek... ohhh what a dream of editing. im sorry if this tanked ur storage

thank you so very much!! i'm so very glad you noticed the reversal!! i intended to convey the growing love and adoration that were present between them despite their respective suffering from the world and each other. according to the director of rgu, "revolution means gaining the power to imagine an enjoyable future." i thought a series of scenes where you could feel their love after the "revolution" would be a good progression; to highlight that their love for the other enabled both of them to eventually envision a future beyond ohtori, to rise up from the coffins of eternal stasis and revolutionise their worlds :)

I've genuinely never seen an amv like this one before, usually when visual similarities are utilised in an amv it's done specifically to pinpoint something from the narrative, but you didn't stop at that, your visual comparisons are so unique and so creative and somehow manage to make rgu more visually gorgeous than it normally is. This is a mosaic in video form, and is currently one of my biggest artistic inspirations

This is truly such a good amv, there are so many great moments of matching visuals to the lyrics and the beat: I also love how you draw continuity in visual themes in certain places, like all of the cuts between various curves/spirals aroun 0:30 . Mesmerizing work, and the ending really packed a punch
