Trading of a 1 min chart will require absolute mastery of your psychology. You'll get so many fail signals that it is practically irrelevant the strategy you use. The only thing I can suggest to you if you love trading of such small time frame is use volume. That will give you an edge. But if you're a novice trader, I strongly suggest you move to a larger time frame and learn swing trading..

First of all, thank you and subscribe to your channel! What I noticed is that in the smaller time frame examples you talk about the 30 SMA, but you have a 30 WMA on the chart?

Not much of a difference! The essence of the strategy and what makes it different, practical and efficient is that it has very clear and systematic decision making. Having said that, it makes more sense to use a Weighted moving average in smaller time frames, but keep in mind that the smaller the time frame, the more false signals you'll get. Good Luck!

@@ervonHier Not at all! You can use it in any time frame, but if I were you, I would set a limit to how small a timeframe I want to trade. Consider the fact that virtually no day trader earns money according to research.

Faster is not always better; it can also gives you a lot more false signals. It's all a matter of testing in your market, your time frame and your personality. In essence any combination will work with the proper management and psychology. The truth is that many traders were able to make fortunes using just with a 10 SMA.

All strategies are always applicable to all time frames. Naturally the lower the time frame the more false signals you'll get.

The research result of the Brazilian paper about day trading is telling the truth in the short term but misleading in the long term. Why? Because most day traders take 2 to 3 years just to break even. Only when they can last beyond 2 years is when they start to become profitable. 3% success rate in last than 1 year sounds high to me. Why? Because the stock market is complex and varied depending on the economic condition. It'll take at least 2 to 3 years to learn how to trade under different situations.
