Guys, thank you for the hard work clearing and reconstructing those trails. I am planning to ride in the Foggy Dew area in a couple of weeks! Is there a way to find out what trails you guys ride, and if there is a recommended loop in that area?

It’s been awhile since I’ve been riding at Entiat. Looks like lots of fire damage. Thanks so much for your efforts to clear those trails. Last I heard the Uno Peak trail near Foggy Dew was closed due to a washout and other issues. Do you know if there are any plans for a trail repair party there this summer?

On the 23 TBI I did put an RK Tek head and I am installing one on my 24’ 300TX with others on it. RK Tek head is a great ROI for dollars spent for noticeable power difference. pretty easy install too

UN fooking believable tails you get to ride. I'm in San Diego. All I have ridden in my adult life is dry desert type of riding. Mexico is close to Tahoe in some areas. Question for ya, I never thought the KTM 525xc was too gnarly for my weight skill set.(40 year +) I have a 450 xc and I have to rev the dog snot out of it in some cases. Sand. Because of my age or what they have in stock they keep pushing me to the 350 xc/te or the 300te. I ask because the last 2stroke I had was a YZ 250. Big hit power and that thing would wear my old ass out. So TE or XC/TX. PDS need not apply due to a lack of suspension tuners local to me. Bob Bell/Precision Concepts hates them. Thanks for the content.

Ok, if we are talking the new TBI bikes 2023 and newer and your terrain is more open and not really a mix of single track trail I would recommend the 350 but personally would stay with a 450. The new 300xc’s TX’s have more power than the 350 on a Dyno but wide open on a w stroke versus four is not the same experience. The option of standard and advanced maps are a huge factor for me. They change the bike so much it is like having two different bikes with a button. The TSP mod would enhance this dramatically. Hope that helps! Cheers

Had a’17 KTM300 absolutely bulletproof. The new KTM’s just have too many glitches I will probably buy a Rieju or a Beta next.

Totally understand. For perspective though. I have over 230hrs on TBI bikes with 1 Fi issue. Not too big of a deal for the amazing performance these new bikes offer. Maybe you have ridden a TBI already but if not…I would recommend the XC or TX models to try out before buying the Rieju or Beta.

Do u notice a slight miss on low rpm once the bike warms up? Im told its just a 2 stroke thing but but it only starts doing it after 40 min of riding... fricken love the bike tho and wish i could come to the states to experience those trails!!

None of this was “speed up” lol. I use a GoPro 11 and 360 camera and the GoPro editor…super low tech. The engine sounds typically don’t.match up when people speed up their footage. Sorry it made you dizzy.
@westcoastfrisco
@westcoastfrisco 10 ай бұрын
Not hating, but its sped up whether you did it on purpose or not. Besides all of your movements being herky jerky. Your bike sounds like its idling at 5000 rpm. Not a normal TBI idle speed

I am still waiting for my 24 TX 300, I ride/race a combination of open GP Desert races in Washington and tough single track trails as my home base is in N Idaho. What do you think of this bike. I am going to be going from a 2021 Husky TE 300i. I am looking forward to the TX, I think it will check the boxes for the wide range of riding I do.

I had a 20’ TE 300 and loved that thing in the woods. I moved from a 21’TX 300 to the 23’-TX 300 and loved it! Put 145hrs on it and now I have 45 hours on my 24’ TX 300. It’s way faster than the TPI bikes and keeps pulling in desert conditions. You may want to look at the TSP ECU Tuner Reflash if your terrain wildly varies. Honestly, the white and green maps are so different already from factory you may not need it. Also an RK Tek head was really nice on my 23’ for under $200. Hope you get it soon and let me know if I can answer any questions you have.

Choice. I just spent last week in Moab and switched from stock (EE spark Arrestor) to FMF. FMF is just barely an improvement but stock has plenty of power. I am hoping that Spanish Fly Racing turbine will be available soon for safe spark arrested summer riding option.
