He somehow wins really bad positions and i dont really get it. Something i notice is he seems to alwaye be very aware of his hip positioning, and seems to always adjust his hips before anything else.

You missed two of the best ones. Bo Nickal vs Miles Martin 2018 NCAA Championship Match and 2019 Dual Match with #1 Bo Nickal pinning #2 Kollin Moore in less than 2 minutes at Ohio State with a cradle. Now those two matches were "soul crushing"!

I never wrestled in school. I'm 38 and I'm just past my first year in jiujitsu, but I can't shoot singles or doubles for anything and this video had me drilling at 1 in the morning for a few minutes.

The shoulders, but also the scapula, that extend down and across the back. Also these pins are college rules, I think one second is a pin in college. Not the two second pin in high school rules. Many times the referee doesn’t call a pin in junior high wrestling unless and until the guy on his back stops wiggling. I think International freestyle and Greco pins can be less than one second. But confirmation is needed from matside judges. I could be wrong.
