for anyone else who sees this - also you want to use some silicon grease in the bowl, on the gears where they sit in the bowl cutouts and in the slots where the joystick stick itself moves around. Will last much longer that way.

Unfortunately VideoStation also uses this port and I wanted to use both VideoStation and Plex at the same time. Do you see a way to fix this? I guess, you don't have VideoStation installed on your Synology?

*THE 2ND BIG REASON* to fix the stick instead of getting a replacement assembly is that all the new sticks, _EVEN NINTENDO'S OWN NSO N64 CLONE CONTROLLER,_ use potentiometers, meaning there's a likelihood the replacements will develop stick drift. The optical wheels are contactless, so in theory they'll be accurate forever. Also, a lot of the replacement sticks have poorly-mapped stick ranges, meaning they'll be inaccurate right out the box.

Yeah I got the same model but I still got the fan for the look. Retro gem shiny and I got blue retro board installed so I can play my ps2 with Xbox 360, Xbox one , series, ps3, ps4, ps5 and switch controller . I got an hdmi port in back of my ps2 and I have the mclassic along with my purple V2.0 Sata board to go into my adapter . I will be doing some outside work too also installing LED lights , doing a paint job and I will be adding doing the square cuts with the glass panels look. 630 games on my 2TB hard drive and mod textures and etc for WWE and etc …

the way you pulled that z trigger jesus. so when youre facing the controller only the left clip moves, the right one doesnt. so just open the left side pin and slide it out dont just pull up unless you want to break the right one one day.

Just get an AMD apu and 32gb ram. dedicate 24gb to the onboard video and you will get 4x-10x the speed of this. Running a 3060 i get 512x512 in 3 seconds. With my onboard 5600g and 24gb ram connected... i get the same 512x512 in about 22 seconds. 5600g pc costs MUCH less than a powerful cpu. If you just want to run stable diffusion without a gpu... APU is the next best thing. I could not imagine waiting 17 min for 1 small image.

Is the general consensus: its better to buy a FRAM controller pak on a new board (like the ForeverPak), instead of buying a modded Nintendo board? I'm asking because the eBay listings I see, don't seem to have all the additional modifications you did.

My RX 6800 sounds exactly the same, but it can't be the power supply, that's a mid-range 700W be quiet! Pure Power 11 80+ Gold and my old defective RTX 4070 was whisper quiet.

I'm pretty new to synology and setting up plex via docker. Is it alright to setup plex on docker via the GUI method you first showed and then apply command to passthrough access for hardware transcoding via SSH? Or must you only setup plex via SSH in order for the transcode command to also work?

ys i was able to fire up my sd on an old debian 9. i had to manually install py3.10.x and some ssl tweaks... . it's absolutely worth it, but you need some commandline options, then try out makes much fun. no need for gpu if you just play around and have time. works great. but to have fun and be productive after trying and getting addicted, a gpu is a must: vram matters most. :)

i followed the written version of this tuts, but i arrived with the error UserWarning: CUDA initialization: CUDA driver initialization failed, you might not have a CUDA gpu. (Triggered internally at C:\cb\pytorch_1000000000000\work\c10\cuda\CUDAFunctions.cpp:112.)

I have the same issue with apple podcast app. It loads the artwork and other stuff fine except for the episodes which remain at 0. Overcast works fine but I’d prefer to use the stock app.

When i open the plex image, i don't see the same window you do. mine is different... for example enable auto-restart is right at the first page of general settings. when i click on advanced settings, there is no volume tab.

One thing you forgot to mention about the aftermarket joystick modules, is that they're all completely garbage and barely even usable. So, ultimately a waste of 15 bucks anyways. I just got these parts and plan to rebuild mine soon!
