Had to do this for my trash bins. Before this, they had been in the garage. 😭

How do you prevent these from tipping over on windy days?

You need extension on that Eavestrough keep water away from house.

Liz what size pavers did you use for this project? The pavers are so heavy as they get bigger but you make this look easy!

Recommend Polymeric sand to fill in between pavers. Rain will wash out the sand you put in and the pavers will be loose. Also paver edging helps keep them in place.

Weed barrier also, that's the only i would add

Curious, have you had any "large critters" try to get into the bins? If so how do you keep the lids shut from letting them get in? Other than that, great video but I'm gunna use my temper and level to level it all out.

Good job! A simple "screed" would help in levelling. A) Weed blocker B)a "paver base" to eliminate using and carrying so much sand C) paver edge restrain D) slope slightly away from home E) play sand for filljng cracks F) finish off with sealer to minimize stains, mold from moisture. Side note.....i dont like the cheap soil sold in bags...."u never know what u gonna get" its like a box of chocolates. I would mixed in an organic soil topper like "kelloggs" from HD. 1 to 3 ratio (for seeds)

That looks really nice and not too difficult. BTW, it would be nice to have a list of all items used: tools, purchases, and so on. I noticed that a few questions were asked regarding this. Thanks for this video.
Need to compact the sand down and maybe a weed barrier may help.

Wow fantastic declutter motivation ! I like that you've shown all the stuff you were able to get rid of at the end, but I wished you would film if you had you discard any of the clothes that couldn't be donated as it's the hardest things for me and usually the dresser is the place we have the most clothes that we can't donate. Too often I just give away whatever I can and put the ones to toss in a clean bag that I leave for way too long in the garage untill I figure I won't use them anymore or that I'm moving house 😅 I should toss them directly in the regular trash, but I don't have the courage to do it and no ones film that part 🤭 By curiosity is most of the clothes on the bed were to toss or donate ?
@LifewithLiz Жыл бұрын
What I do is I'll make a pile that is just trash, a donate pile & a sell pile. Within the sell pile I will post to poshmark, macari & Facebook whatever doesn't sell or what I don't want to waste time selling on there I put for garage sale. Whatever doesn't at the garage sale gets donated.
@Math_ilda Жыл бұрын
@@LifewithLiz I do similar too except the ''trash'' pile that more often end up sitting in the garage 🤣 I've didn't noticed those pile on the bed that's why I was wondering if those were mostly to discard as the drawers are where we keep most of the clothes that can't be sold/donated. I don't know if you'll ever have to go through those again in the future but even if it's not a huge declutter, that would be great if you could film while tossing whatever you need to. I have the same problem with fashion magazines/catalogs and even the nicer flyers haha so same goes for them if you ever need to toss some in the future during a cleaning video even if it's not a full declutter 😀
@LifewithLiz Жыл бұрын
@Math Math I don't give them the chance to go anywhere but the trash immediately usually my garage sale bin is the majority of it. Then if it doesn't sell I put it directly in my car and take it to donate I don't ever let it come back in

Thanks for the video. Glad to see in comments that it has held up well. I was thinking you might get some erosion around the edge. I plan on doing this over the upcoming weekend. My thought though was to try and get them flush with the surrounding grass to allow for a smooth roll onto the pad. I will see how that goes. Take care.

Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil 🥰🙏
