Would have been more impressive if you tried to start the car before hooking up the Dewalt battery.

My concern is, if the car you jump has issues and you keep cranking it, that DW battery can be damaged on the spot. The crank amp in a typical car is high. Many people are not you and they might keep going and suck the crap out of it. Good idea if it’s only a quick crank. It pays to invest in a booster. I have one in every car and my Goldwing bike. They are not expensive.
@jime.angulo415120 сағат бұрын
@alp3781 Yes, as I showed my battery was not completely dead, It was still trying to turn the engine over and the little bit of boost from DW battery helped it. Of course if you battery is completely dead, then this should only be done in an emergency situation. Thank you for your comment.

Have you ever had to clean the inside of the throttle body ? I have that o ring air leak and want to know what I will need to be ready to do when I take that thing off . I will plan to do this job at the same time. Also I would add to the list of checking the butterfly valves and doing that Locktite trick for loose screws maybe on this job as well. Any other things i need to be prepared for ? We need to create a system so all gen 3 owners have a plan to do these jobs in sections so we never have to go back again .

Good job. I'd also install foam between the condenser and the radiator support. When the hood is closed and in traffic, the fan will pull heated air trapped inside the engine bay again from those gaps. Truly the only air that should come into the engine bay is from the front grill
@jime.angulo415111 күн бұрын
also the foam seal is to prevent sand and debris away from the radiator fins
