How does Gibberellins appear to promote sprouting of buds which have been dormant?
@chemistryintamil
@chemistryintamil Ай бұрын
Dormancy in seeds are produced by abscisic acid during undesired conditions. (Some seeds can wait or being in dormant state for years and years). So when the desired conditions like proper weather and favourable conditons occurs, abscisic acid get replaced by gibberalin and the dormancy gets broken. Sprouts starts growing.

In 4:45 when you said inhibits flowering in short day plants do you mean long day plants because the nights are short and so it doesn’t have much time for the pfr to be converted back to pr.
