Roy won. Roy was the one pressing, and doing the take downs. Kicks+punches were kind of equal. Fight was too short. Roy should've been a good sport.

I ako sam navijao uvek za cro copa,sreca sto mec nije trajao 1-2 min duze, izgubio bi mirko 100%,vise nije mogao da hoda od umora,..A i ne bi bilo pvi put da ga debeli roy nelson dobije.

He has a layer of fat, but this is not a beer belly. One gets beer belly when belly muscles are weak and they move away to the sides leaving "weak opening" (linea alba hernia) pushed from inside by the internal pressure. Pregnant women get it in the lower belly, obese men get it in the upper belly. When you hit a beer belly, there are no muscles protecting it. When you hit Roy Nelson, you hit a shield of fat which dissipates the energy to wider area plus there are strong muscles under it. Small difference...

The nerve of nelson to act like he won any of that. Guy spammed halfhearted gut-lean clinch grapples, got bullied by mirko each time, and failed to land 19/20 takedowns...but cuz he lands the last one, he thinks thats enough? Roys such a tool in the later half of his career...

Mirko even tries walking to neslon, right after the announcer names Mirko as the victor (And, keep in mind...RIGHT AFTER roy has the gaul to raise up his arm prematurely, like he thinks he had that 'in the bag') And what does Nelson do? Walk away, doesnt say shit. Mirko is always a cl;ass act: victory or defeat. Absolute stud...always has been. Whereas roy "BK" Nelson kicks referees and throws bitchfits when his halfhearted effo4t doesnt win him the day....

PRactically screaming through my laptop screen, urging Mirko to throw a goddamn leg kick. Especially as the fight progresses into the second round...we can see that Roy is SUUUUPER fucking HEAVY on that front leg of his. Now,, of course, any experienced fighter should know that it is a common strategy amongst grappling-heavy competitors, to purposefully 'show' their opponent a flat-footed lead leg...all in the hopes that the opponent will throw a kick, allowing the grappler to take advantage and scramble for a catch/TD. But that is NOT what I see roy doing here, @ about 4:30 of the second round, and onward: hes just exhausted. Hes not worrying about a leg kick, though. And why would he?!!! Bcause fucking Mirko...despite having utterly enormous, Herculean legs, each densely packed with 'steel-corded', fast-twitch muscle fibers...is not a leg kicker. My favorite fighter in all of the sport. The guy who got me into fighting and kickboxing in the first place. And yet, even still...i can admit that the man has a glaring issue with leg kicks. I know he doesnt wanna be taken down...and of course, we know that, if roys fat ass gets on top of you, you're not getting out from under. In fact, thats how the pairs first fight concluded, if I recall...? But dude... roy is just so comically goddamn heavy on that fucking front leg...especially as the fight drags on and his tamina drains, and he resorts to his usual slow, plodding march...if mirko whipped that leg around like he was throwing a left high kick...he might well snap roys knee joint. At the least, it hurts roy like shit, and his movement is even MORE compromised than usual. I know mirko doesnt necessarily utilize a purely-Thai kickboxing style; hes more of a savate kickboxer, but with the explosivity and raw stopping power of the former. lol We saw what mirko can do if he lands one or two well-placed body shots on a big, stout dude like Josh Barntt (A man with a pudgy belly, who, nonetheless, was forced to tap to strikes after mirko BROKE him like a glow stick.

He did? Cuz im prety sure he stuffed like 17 takedowns, and landed the harder shots both in the clinch, and out of the clinch. WHhat, because Roy lands a takedown at the ASS END of the final round, and does nothing with it, that MEANS HE WON?

Komentatoru more te sram biti na naš očigled blejiš doslovno i govoriš dezinformacije za ljude koji nemogu vidit meč. Sramota! Ako oćeš reći ću ti u čemu si sve pogrišija, ti kao borac nemožeš tako lajat. I ti bija u promociji. Žao mi je što nikad u životu nisam dobio priliku da se suočim s nekim u ringu ili kavezu i dam sve od sebe jer u moje vrime je to bilo nepoznato skoro i samo za one koji oće biti ludi u budućnosti.. budućnost se ostvarila ali ovako bi bar ima šanse biti na vrhu i možda jače o CroCopa kojeg iznimno cijenim ali da vi nevidite što se događa?? Da se bar nikad u životu nisam potuka i nije bitno koliko ljudi je bilo i ima bi probleme, i lik me pogodija sa malo više od polovice betonskog bloka u glavu i pao sam u ND i vidim da me svi cipelare, odveli me posli u bolnicu i zašili i odma doma poslali, danas bi vas quireve držali misec dana da vam se to dogodi, ali molim boga i dalje, da mi se jedno samo jednom pruži prilika potući 1 na 1 u ringu sa pravilima iako imam 40 ravnih godina. ....komentiranje , žao mi je ali zaista je katastrofa, tj neistinito, jel znate kojom brzinom i preciznošću komentiraju nogomet e pa vi bi tribali imat tu brzinu i žar a nemate ništa od toga. pozz

care to explain? Way i see it...roy walked forward most the fight, which i guess counts toward 'octagon control'. However, most of his strikes seemed to miss or not have much impact...whereas Mirko seems to have landed the harder, and higher quantity of, shots. Roy shot like 16 shoddy takedowns; all of which, save the VERY LAST ONE, were fairly easily stuffed by Mirko; not only stuffed, but Crocop was able to use over/under to get his own back off the fence, and spin around roy. Which is wild considering that roy is the wrestler, Mirko is the striker...and yet, to me, it looked like mirko was trhe stronger, and more dominant force, when the two men began hand-fighting in the clinch. Roy landed ONE takedown, in the last minute of the fight...a takedown he did nothing with. If roys single takedown counts as this tremendous credit...then certainly mirkos shutting down of every sngle previous takedown must also, right?

Well, idk...roy raises his hand prematurely, before any name is announced...and then acts indignant when the judges reveal that his seventeen failed, spammed takedowns, do not, in fact, qualify as winning.

....what? Roy Nelson shot literally like 20 takedowns in that second round, and landed not a single on. Every time they tied up in over/under, it was Mirko that was able to use hooks to swing off the fence. No meaningful shots were landed at a distance, really...but when shots were landed outside the clinch, it was almost unanimously mirko landing them. Inside the clinch, mirko landed hard elbows and uppercuts, whereas roy struggled to land anything of any real stopping power. The only round u MIGHT give to roy is the third, and thats only cuz of the sucessful takeown he FINALLY landed. Which he didnt do anything with.

Pa njegov he napon snage u mma trajao odprilike 2godine sve posle i prije je bilo lose... i to u tome naponu je izgubio opet od najboljih...Hunt,Nogueira,Fedor...nakon toga je sve bilo katastrofa... to sto je on imao nrke pobejde u nekoj lijevoj org.porpavi utisak al sve u svemu on je prosjecan borac na tome najvecem nivou! Bio je premali za teskasa i kasno je krenuo u mma...
