I just finished watching it, and I loved it. It felt like a mix of Trainspotting and Human Traffic (a great movie if you haven't seen it before) which are two of my favourite films. I don't think the film was as much about a united Ireland, but more about the right to speak the Irish language in Northern Ireland, which was banned until 2022. I am glad you enjoyed it, and good luck with your channel.

I like the film but it definitely has its problems I'm a huge BJ fanboy and for anyone to say it don't have problems is lying to them self

“It’s bad” I found my lunch table! I’m sorry but this movie was painful: it was seriously just a retread of the original movie. They introduce some potentially interesting concepts but they’re resolved way too quickly or pushed to the side, ultimately there just to push the characters into a familiar setting or scenario I know it may seem nitpicky but there were a lot of questionable retcons. Okay, Adam and Barbara just found a loophole? The whole premise of the first movie was shaped by the fact that they were confined to the house and concerned with the essentially adapting. Now they just conveniently piss off to god knows where?! Then there’s the fact that this universe has a Hell; the appeal of the first movie is its unconventional concept of life after death. It just seemed like nobody working on this really gave a damn about the narrative/lore altogether

What's interesting to me is while I enjoyed this movie I acknowledge that if I decide to think about it it's really not great. Every complaint I had for Ghostbusters Frozen Empire I had for this movie as well. And I did not like Frozen Empire at all. Too many plot lines and the most interesting of them were left in the background. Monica Bellucci's character essentially set the plot in motion only for her to be condemned to walking around looking for Beetlejuice for the entire run time of this movie. Meanwhile, Ghost Kid gets way more attention and in my opinion could've been completely cut out of the film in favor actually utilizing Bellucci's character. This movie is saved by it's pacing in my opinion. Everything happens so fast that the audience doesn't have time to questions what's happening. HOWEVER, I laughed a lot and had a good time and am deciding not to think about it too much because if I do...

Your comment is very, very, well thought out and articulated. I was actually reminded of Ghostbusters: Afterlife a lot during Beetlejuice 2. Mostly due to the family returning to the old house and the over abundance of characters. However, I couldn't remember enough of Afterlife to draw the comparison. That being said, your description of Frozen Empire tracks. Thanks for watching!

Guess what movie might actually surprise you that you would like: the biographical film - Girl You Know It's True - based on the Milli Vanilli story of how they were tricked into signing a BS contract and forced to lip-sing a singing career and the horrendous outcome of it all.

Great review one of my favorite movies this year. This movie in particular is about the six counties otherwise known as the north of Ireland. Which is still under control of the UK. Since the Good Friday agreement in 1998 in the north of Ireland you can choose Irish citizenship or British citizenship it’s very unique. Eventually, there will be border poll to see if the six counties want to reunite with the Republic. The 26 counties which make up the Republic of Ireland has been independent from Great Britain since 1922 Great review really enjoyed it

Thanks very much for watching and I am glad you enjoyed! I appreciate that additional info. As I said in the review, much of the film's subject matter was unfamiliar to me. Which, goes to credit the filmmaking even more, that I was able to enjoy it without having a lot of that info.

The review has me interested in the film. Shyamalan wrote, produced and directed The Village, for which I have the soundtrack. I liked that one. Trap sounds like it’s worth a view.

Go and see this great movie..Thats why theater attendance is low in general because people would rather wait for streaming and see it on their big screen at home..But Horizon needs to be seen at the theater to get the full effect and be patient as the stories unfold...In your face over the top CGI action and quick cuts etc..now that's really boring!.

loved this review, from "harshly informed"" to many other comments. Insightful. thank you. I am seeing the film tomorrow - and I am keen to look at how visceral the "this is how life was back then" aspect. As Costner says, there was no law, no protection. If you got anything, you had to fight to keep it. So many tragic stories that we will never know, I spose...for white people and native americans. And being an assuie, I wanna see what Worthington does, too...🙂...and I intend to reserve judgement until I have seen all of them...

Everybody starts somewhere so don’t worry about it. Trim your beard n hair tight will make you look a bit bigger. Get as dark as possible 4/5 coats of tan 3/4 on your own even if they spray tan at show. If you’re really lean don’t carb deplete just eat few more carbs for 3 days leading up. After prejudging get two double cheeseburgers fries n a coke r sprite not diet. While you’re pumping up you drink a little wine not much. You can thank me later haha
