this video is absolutely breathtaking! the clarity and detail are top-notch. but honestly, while the Swiss Alps are gorgeous, i sometimes feel like these types of landscapes can be a bit overhyped. don’t get me wrong, they’re beautiful, but isn’t there a bit too much focus on the same iconic spots? i’d love to see more hidden gems instead!

Depends on persons pace, if I recall correctly it took us about 30 minutes from Gschwandtenmaad bus station to entrance of the waterfall area (Gletscherschlucht Rosenlaui)

@@YuuY-pz7px There were people swimming, including us, you can see us even snorkel at the end of the video☺We are lucky to say that Zamami beaches were not overcrowded during our visit 🙏

Wonderful video with your written commentary. Could you advise which month and week you visited these places? There was still a great deal of snow. The tendo hotel looked nice from the lobby. At Zao you didn’t mention which hotel you were staying at. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! We're thrilled you enjoyed the video 😊. We were in Yamagata during the last week of February. We were indeed fortunate with the snowfall. We didn't feature our stay in Zao because it was just a simple, small but nice pension but nothing particularly noteworthy. Cheers!

The most convenient is probably by taking public transport (Post bus) from Meringen, Bern to Gschwandtenmaad. You can find timetable if you search for "Rosenlaui-Linie". Hope that helps ☺

@@ricardobarrantes8365 not for the Gschwandtenmaad area, but there is entrance fee for waterfall and the glacier canyon (Gletscherschlucht Rosenlaui). Hope that helps ☺
