Magnificent performance from the mid-late Hugh era band, unnecessary brass section aside. Jet's drumming is amazing at the end, as is Dave's psychedelic churchy organ. RIP both.

From the Get go I’ve loved the Stranglers ….one of the best bands to come out of this country ….Hugh was a loss but Baz has more than filled that void …JJ is a true Rock legend ….I hope the Stranglers keep going on ….

That extra guitar adds to the effect. Slick and tight, contained power and menaing and avant avant-garde. Holds up well.

A great song from Black and White but this version is lame. Pointless addition of a second guitarist and far too slow to create any excitement IMHO. To be fair they've got it back in the last 15 years or so.

They never needed Paul Roberts. John Ellis is a perfectly good singer. The band should have continued as a four piece after Hugh left.

@@theraven1979 I agree that Paul Roberts is a technically better singer but John Ellis was perfectly capable of handling vocal duties. I don't understand why they needed an additional singer. John Ellis is just as good a singer as Baz Warne is.

I love them to bits, one of my all time favourite bands but that seems a little sedate doesn't it? One song they normally do with maximum energy and it sounds a bit flat. Wonder if someone was feeling off that day.
