I just sat next to Doug Miller (Tenor Sax, 2nd from the right) on the airplane (NYC to Minneapolis)! He was arranging some music for the orchestra. What an honor to meet and talk to him!

i wish they would comebacki to tasmania ,my wife bought tickets on my birthday that night was brilliant i met many members of the band what a great bunch of guys and gals the music lives on great job scotty and the boys .COMEBACK SOON,

Magnificent - even though the attendance was not great here in Launceston. I saw them in Melbourne but they were just as good here.

Great music! I've been a fan of the Basie band since seeing the founder live at Carnegie Hall in NYC back in the mid 1970s. We want more, more and more Scotty!

Wow. Basie and Steve Allen (the composer) would really love this version of "This Could Be Start of Something Big", especially since it is being played live in the second decade of the 21st Century.
