The east Yorkshire coach. Fleet no 77. I took that all over the UK and the continent.. That was before the take over by go ahead. Now they are lucky to get out of hull . Really sad.

We still use Front Engine buses here in India. Roughly 95 % of all long distance buses are front engine buses

Genuinely curious. Any particular rationale why front engine buses are mostly utilized in India?
@blesschacko3264 Жыл бұрын
@@johnpaultan306Two reasons.It's because we used British Convention for almost every thing. We had bedford buses with long nose bonet engines when they ruled india. Second reason is cost savings. The truck chassis and Engines can be used to build buses by bus body building Company.This practice is still done in the US. The Other Convention is we drive on the left like in England. We even adopted Parliamentary form of democracy from them.

I'd have enjoyed that if the camera wasn't jumping all over, like it was on the deck of the Dublin Ferry. Gave up after 2 mins, feeling more travel sick than I ever was in 30 years of driving Plaxton coaches.
