quite a Déjà-vu with Amsterdam. Amsterdam can be one of the biggest let downs vs. anticipation and turn out to be exactly what the video expresses. Mind you it can be a brilliant place too but only after you have lived there for a couple of months and made friends. Friends frequently from other countries but also Dutch will have you appreciate, even fall for a city where you can find your comfort zone, incl. shopping, dining, living and work place but it takes some time to match things together. My partner and I went to different gyms because...exactly. That s the kind of attitude Amsterdam will teach you - get happy your way and don't make a fuss about it. Summer recommended for first time visitors!
