What I've noticed in Asafa's races is that if he feels any pressure at 60m he tends to stop fighting.. Tyson Gay for instance is the opposite, every Neck Vein pops out as he strains to maintain his top Speed at 60m.. Bolt & Yohan to a smaller extent are just Beasts in a class to themselves.. IMHO

You should have researched the context T. He was referring to the fact that some fans will turn on you the minute didn't perform how they expected you to perform without knowing if you're healthy or not. So you may as well do it for yourself first. You made a video in the past regarding how the fans switched on Shericka and Elaine, so you should understand what he's saying, but then again, you didn't research the context of what was said.

Stop stop stop! The short answer here is Elaine is the real threat! Forget ShaCarri and Alfred…Elaine wants a shot at Bolt’s achievement(3x3), plus Elaine has the ability and experience, the times also! The young ones are still young regardless of talent and achievement! Youth doesn’t always win, big advantage but older n wiser is no joke either! Both Shericka and ShaCarri have done a 10:6 and are generally running 10:7s, Alfred is coming but needs more experience and nerves can be an issue if she has a few loses, especially if it’s not to stalwarts! Sure they all have their kryptonite and so it will be interesting to see how they navigate themselves! Exciting times ahead no need for any panicking! We are in marvelous times, technology, Science, nutrition, recovery etc are all going to make each of these runners better or can, who will make the most of it…we will see!

That is what you think? Last season shericka ran 21.4s and 21.5s for fun in the 200m and with her out all of this season and well rested they won't beat her in the 200m , in terms of the 100m she is still there in the mix and if she executes properly she can pip Alfred or Richardson.

@@didi33333 listen neither Gabby or Julien is in shericka's league in terms of the 200m I reminded you of the fact that she ran a few 21.4s and 21.5s last season and if any of them is not prepared to run those times they won't even see the smoke coming from her spikes. Shericka is just in her prime and ready to run. Bro shericka at 60% and injury free would have won the Paris Olympics. Shericka have about 6 of the fastest 200m in the top 10 All times

I don't think we are doomed. All the young ladies that were involved in setting the U20 ( on both occasions) record are working hard. I think they all know that they have huge shoes to fill. This is just a huge changing of the guard for us, because all out potential is 23 and under ( Brianna, Tina, Tia, Kevona, Alana, Serena etc). Worlds will be touch in 2025...but next olympics will be redemption with a team loaded with young strong women ready top carry that legacy.

Feeman hasn't said anything thats new. Teams like China, Italy Japan etc, have been doing what Freeman is talking about for many decades. The USA started taking relays seriously because Jamaica was winning since 2008 because of our superior speed and the USA faulty baton exchanges, however most of those baton exchanges (in my opinion) were as a result of their panicking because of our superior speed (no room for error on their part). Tee...you are right about what should be done, BUT....there are so many OTHER things that needs to be addressed BEFORE we get to relay strategy, starting with the Administration. Thinking about the "science" behind what works starts with competent people in the Administration and wanting whats best for Team JA. Our Administrations seem to think about "self" first and "team" after. As for the athletes or their Teams/Clubs coming together...... the Clubs are always going to think about whats best for THEIR athletes first and never whats best for team Jamaica. The only way I can see JA putting together a continuous relay camp is if our Administration starts paying the athletes to be at said camps, like the USA and Great Britain does. You seem to be asking them to volunteer and I dont see the coaches ever getting on the same schedule to accomplish that. Think about it this way....Whats best for the athletes is like the foundation of a house and whats best for the relay team is like putting on a roof. The Clubs are mostly concerned with the foundation because without that they cant worry about what the roof is going to look like.

@Jake1005 In the future my relay team would used the same exact team that set the world record in the juniors and the U20 with 2 or 3 reserve.. And my reason for sticking with this team in the future is because of their continuity from high school.. People tense to believe speed win relays but of course it doesn’t, it require grate executions and continuity makes for good relays runnings..

One major difference between the US and JA is that the JA athletes are not compensated for running the relay. Nowadays, everything comes with a price and if the JA athletic bodies are not willing to put forth the funds, the JA relay teams will continue to be a non-factor.
