Very well done! The conductor chose a very good tempo, and the tempo changes later in the piece were good as well.

I agree, that this was a passionate interpretation. This is my favourite march, and I am aware, that it was probably never meant to be a military march, because the tempo is a bit too fast for the marching. I think, that this is a happy concert march for the happy people.

Nice, BUT. Wrong End. It´s notated like one eighth note and one sixteenth note. It must sound like Bam-Ba and not Ba-Ba. Look at your score 😉

That is a very nice junior high band but no they do not outplay this university band. This is very nice performance and the.middle school just doesn't match it in tone, pitch, and musicality. A university has more musically mature musicians generally anyways.
