Thank you for the information. Do you use a wire service to obtain orders? I created a studio floral business a year ago. It haven't generated much interest. I have a website, and I also have a Facebook and Instagram account. Any suggestions?

Thank you for watching! I don’t use a wire service and in fact have a pretty significant business focus on weddings and event floral design (and don’t even usually take weekly delivery orders). I have had success building my businesses by focusing on networking with local event planners and venues and will be creating a series of future videos on this topic specifically. I’m hoping that could be helpful for you too! Wishing you lots of success in 2025!

Underwater floristry is quite unique. The three biggest things I’ve learned along the way might surprise you 👇 1) The things you think will float in the water often sink, and the things you are so sure will sink almost always float 🙃 Staying curious and being a floral detective is crucial when it comes to the right mechanics (and flowers) for installations. 2) There is only room for the most sustainable practices when placing flowers in a water source - whether it is a man-made pool, natural springs or the ocean. Models and photographers are immersing themselves in the flowers so I strive for locally sourced flowers and sustainable mechanics in all aspects of the designs as much as I possibly can. 3) The breath hold for underwater models is ideally WAY longer than you might expect to get the best images. This video of the talented @mslunamarie has been sped up from 24 seconds (and her breath hold is even longer than that)!! 🤯 Interested in learning more about underwater floristry?
