@davidjohnson491815 күн бұрын
Just turn a yr old about 18-19 inches in Length Now how long do you think 🤔 he'll get?
@qbstailsnscales15 күн бұрын
That's a good average price. And dragons typically max out around 22 inches. Growth rate usually has little to do with how big they will get. Growth rate can be highly influenced by people over feeding.

When I was young, I bred my bearded dragons, not for profit, but because I was curious and I had this idea in my head for, like, a legacy bloodline. Naturally, that didn't turn out, but I did manage to hatch fourteen out of fifteen eggs. In hindsight I should not have bred the female, Kelly, at all, since she was small for her age and had a bad leg from the person who previously owned her (he had her with three other females in a small cage). Had to basically giveaway the babies because they were all normal and my family couldn't afford to buy the crickets, but I kept one, Tank. Sadly he had a very rough life, and I gave up any ideas to breed him because, when I briefly gave him to a friend of my sister's after some depression following the death of his parents and my second female (I have no idea what killed them, but they all died in rapid succession), he came back to me malourised, with MBD, and no use of his back legs. He's recovered amazingly since I got him back and this August, celebrated his 13th birthday. I've got no plans to get back into breeding at the moment, but I'd be lying if the idea didn't buzz in my brain. This time though I'd do things right, and a big reason for that are your videos. So thank you so much!

Im breeding for zeros ,I learned a lot about breeding from your vidoes. I usually breed for hypo zero, hypo zero trans, hypo zero lb, hypo zero trans lb. My dragons are hypo zero lb, het trans, hypo zero trans, hypo zero trans. Visual hypo ,Visual zero, Visual trans, to visuals or het is working for me really well, my translucent are also healthy. It really matters how strong is your transucent parent, there are weak ones there are strong ones, my beardies are strong trans they produce healthy ones, I had a lot of clutch and didnt have any problems

I've seen a few posts of random people in bearded dragon groups saying, "I'm planning on breeding my two bearded dragons, does anyone have any tips?" The first thing someone would ask is, "do you know the genetics? Where did you purchase the dragons?" Come to find out, they don't know the genetics, and they got the dragons from petsmart 🤦🏾♀️.
@qbstailsnscalesАй бұрын
@mrstea1813 and they're fools! Lol I'm in some groups and I just say don't breed if you need to ask. If they really wanted to breed, a quick Google search will lead them down the right path. If they go to FB for advice, they're already doing it wrong.
