The Sky is just a dysfunctional organization. The ownership is awful. T.Spoon did the best she could with a flawed roster. Why did they draft Reese and Cardoso? Both play the same position. They need shooters. They traded Mabrey???? Why??

One more thing, I won't deny the fact that Nons Miraj has often been an instigator of this toxic back and forth insults traded on the show, but recently I noticed that she does make efforts to match people and stop girls from popping balloons unnecessarily or too early. I've also seen her question the logic of some participants if they seem too uninformed or out of pocket. So again, I don't think what goes on in that show is entirely her fault. Then again, is she enjoying the money and clout the fighting on the show brings for her? Probably. In fact, definitely. And I think she knows this. So, it is what it is, I guess.

I liked this video because you're particularly right in your assessment of the Nigerian pop the balloon series as the most toxic and classless online. That being said, I just have a couple of things I need to point out. Firstly, you're acting like women are the only victims of this clusterfuck, leaving out the men totally from your critique. Actually, I'd argue that the men who come on the show are equally victims (sometimes more) of unnecessary verbal abuse on the show as well, and I say this as a lady. Many Nigerian pop the balloon episodes go like this: a decent guy walks up to a row of girls. Over 70% percent of these girls then proceed to pop their balloons impulsively without even getting the men's names. Nons Miraj then literally and metaphorically walks these poor men through the gallows as each woman takes turns trying to kill his self esteem with harsh and petty insults. Most times the men fight back, but their retorts are often misplaced and come across as shallow and insecure replied to get back at the girls who hurt their feelings. I've seen episodes though where the men often succeed in putting the women in their place. The same thing goes vice versa. I think you're placing more emphasis on the women because the men might often seem more quick witted but I assure you, the women are also aggressors in this charade. I still remember an episode where these group of women mercilessly teased a decent looking man because he was "looking like a pastor". This man tried being rational with his responses, but it only earned him more caustic remarks and bullying. There's another one where some ladies brutally roasted one guy for his height and I could see from his face that if he had a choice, he'd have run away from the room. So let's be careful not to paint the picture of men being the only aggressors here. Secondly, I think the problem is mostly a cultural one. From my experience, Nigerians have no filter with their words, and putting each other down in the most sardonic fashion is almost even seen as a sport for them. Friends do it to each other and if you take offense, then you're just being a pussy. That's why a guy or a girl can brutally call someone from the opposite gender ugly to their face. Thirdly, and I don't mean this to be disrespectful to Nigerians, but as a third world country, the standards of living there aren't exactly the best. The people there struggle to achieve basic amenities that are readily available in more developed countries. Somehow, I guess this makes them seem more superficial and materialistic? Most criticisms from Nigerian ladies and guys who reject someone from the opposite gender always seem to center on how poor or wretched they perceive the other person to be. Whereas in the UK or US versions (and I'm not talking about thirsty black KZbin "content"), the behaviors are more classy, and the participants seem morecl concerned about vibes, personality and mutual interests. This is just my rough sketch on why the Nigerian pop the balloon series sucks so much.

You ruined it with the enzo stuff at the end, stop painting a european narrative to us, once again the europeans are trying to manipulate africans, the song was a diss to france not to africans, it acknowledges france is nothing without african players, that's a flex and not an insult to me as an african, why would you rather be french /english than african? argentina never came to "colonize" africans, all the poverty and wars, was never caused by argentines, saka rashford sancho and many black french players suffered the most racism from english and french fans, who either depict them as gorillas or tell them to go back to Africa. Africa wake up

You might be correct, or not, on afcon being more entertaining, but I don't think your arguments are quite on point, or unbiased. For the most part, you're comparing Euros with afcon, ignoring Copa, or comparing afcon with copa and ignoring Euros. When it comes to saying that copa was a mess with in fighting... You mentioned literally the same country fighting with someone twice (Colombia fighting with Uruguayans, and then Colombians sneaking in to the finals), the other 15 countries had well behaved fans. While Enzo's singing was not okay, it's debatable if it's racist, it wasn't rehearsed, it's an already very old song that France FA happened to have a problem with just now. And Argentina doesn't has a history of racism, there's no racism in Argentina's history, from the minute zero of Argentina's history slavery was abolished, and the population here is pretty mixed after centuries of not being racists with one another (we have a problem of classism tho, that's VERY problematic. But not racism). So... Yeah, perhaps a lil bit more research?

None of what you said make sense, it look more competitive to you becouse majority of the teams are craps and don't know how to play properly, is like saying that low leagues are more competitive beocuse the team sucks so there isn't really a real favorite and almost everyone can win against everyone, if this is the way you judge football then please go to watch afcon and stay out from real football
