nice video. the only thing thats bothers me of M Gief is that im used to make spd in back motion so this overlaps with running bear motion and i get whatever the game wants at the moment.

Just wanted to mention that in most spots where you can combo into medium swipe for a safejump on Classic, you can combo into Light Ghost which also gives you a safejump! I think the only hard hitter is missign heavy swipe

EXACTLY what i've been thinking with ur outro text! It's so odd she has this reputation of being the best on Modern, but that's because of pro player mileage in SF. This character is in my not-so-humble opinion HARDER on Modern because she's very difficult to finesse to begin with as a whole. I wish I can reconfigure her on Modern myself so bad! and remove charge first of all! The rest is hard enough as it is! My dream buttons for the SP function is: SP: Medium fireball SP + toward: Heavy Hazanshu SP + back: Heavy SBK SP + down: Light Dp Naturally, the Auto + SP will do the OD on those listed. and make Down Down her stance! and have manual inputs only for Lighting Legs with QCB. Weirdly, I'm actually removing more special options this way, but optimizing the play for Modern(imo). But for some odd reason, the Manual Inputs on Modern have to mirror that of Classic.. I wonder why? and you see this overlap become a problem on Avatar specials selection. I also need her auto-combos to have variations for when the opponent blocks the first hit! For the auto-combos to basically auto hit-confirm for you, and not cancel into a special when blocked leaving you mad negative at your opponent's grill just because you tapped twice and couldn't hit confirm from a single hit dammnit!

Thank you for the SC III song. Modern JP is who I'm largely interested in; this guide was extremely helpful. I'll definitely watch this a few times to study further. Most people say JP isn't that great on Modern, but I'm having fun.

As always, a great video. If/when you do Modern JP's guide, I'd like to request either "No Turning Back" from Soul Calibur II or "Endless Warfare" from Soul Calibur III (I believe those are Raphael's themes) as possible songs you use.

Another immaculate guide. I used Modern Chun-Li for a while back when the game first came out (Haitani was a big source of inspiration) but this taught me a few things. I'm definitely going to try getting my hands on her again now that I'm playing after my five-month hiatus. I recall the Heavy Autocombo being different--I'd say worse--in Season 1. It didn't seem worth using, but now, I think I could do something with it. Chun is still a bit daunting, but I think Modern makes learning her a bit more approachable.

Thank you very much for this guide. I stopped playing in late January and am just now coming back to SF6, so these Season 2 Modern guides are immensely helpful. I haven't decided what character(s) I want to focus on, but I remember Luke being one who was fun and easy to use, so he'll likely be in my lineup, if not my main character. Again, I'm grateful.
