Happy New Year....enjoyed your video as always! It is fun to go through our calendars and see what .was done in 2024. I did like you and was skimpy in making my noes in November and December. I did go through the year and was amazed at the number of projects (stitching and quilting) that I actually finished...last year my word was NEW and I did try new crafts and/or patterns. This year my word will be CHALLENGE because I want to challenge myself to go beyond the basics in the projects I work on.

I finally came up with my word - KINDNESS - because oh boy, does the world need some kindness this year!

Anna, can you help me. If I order 10 yards of dyed floss that has 6 strands, does that mean if I pull all of the strands apart and lay end to end, I will have10 yards? Or, each strand 10 yards? If the latter is true, and I need 50 yards of floss, would the 10 yard of floss be enough? I'm so confused. Can you help me understand.

Thank you so much for the New Year Video. Love it. Gee did good on your stocking stuffer. Loved seeing the photos at the end. Exercise and visiting with friends is always good. I fell off the stitching the last few months of the year myself. And so what you are an enabler, I personally keep a running list of charts that I would like to stitch someday. I need to get my book of days for 2025, thanks for reminding me.

Good Words Anna. Thanks for the year summary. I saw on one of the stitchy channels (maybe yours LOL).....they piled their Wips with those closest to the finish on the top of the pile and what was on the bottom they had barely begun. So once a month they took something from the top of the pile. this was satisfying for them because they "finished" 12 things from their older WIPS. They claimed it was painless:). Your Jingle Ball finish is beautiful.

Happy New Year, Anna! Maybe our paths will cross at Sister's this year! I'm was so excited when you said 6 planets will align on Jan 25th (my 75th birthday)!!!! I have become a pretty monogamous stitcher for most of the month, but the stars seem to be telling me to start something new that date! So - I'll be stitching Kathy Barrick's moons chart! You make me smile and sometimes giggle but always find you interesting. Books and movies - my Florida (spend winters here) book club's selection a couple years ago was "Last of the Sea Women" which everyone enjoyed. Yesterday, I saw there was a film on Netflix of the book and so on New Year's day, I watched it and thought about your Mom and wondered if she ever told you about these strong women from Jeju. Also Happy 2025 and Happy Stitching!

You make me smile Anna and I am very glad you aren't into the long videos because I have stopped watching some of those that go way over an hr. My word for 2025 is Faith because I need it to get through the difficulties that are following me into the New Year. I must learn that I cannot fix everything and that I need to keep on keeping on regardless of what else is happening. I entered my 70th. decade in Nov. and wow....definitely gives one something to think about. That tart FFO is absolutely lovely. Take Care!!
