I just got back from Sugar Mountain.North carolina and almost every lift operator was Hispanic. I only wish that they had spoken English betterl.I think it would better given interacting, especially on a job that has safety concerns.. But I don't think there's an uprising in that area that anybody's fighting or outraged that those jobs have been taken from them. I live near cape Canaveral and can confirm that this has been the plan for a long time, after Boeing said they didn’t want to risk bringing them home in the ship they took off in. After that, nasa asked spacex to go and get them on the next scheduled flight. Which is in February. A simple google search can confirm this and it made national news at the time.
